"I was very excited about receiving my new 24" Faxon .224 Valkyrie rifle barrel until I watched the UPS deliveryman walk up to the door with the muzzle end of the barrel sticking up out of the box!!!! I could clearly see the red thread protector peeking from out of a corner of the box, and so could the UPS carrier! Barrels should be packaged in stiff tubes to protect them from any damage. The barrel did receive slight cosmetic damage but luckily it was minor and on the underside where it will not be immediately visual without closer inspection. The second disappointment was the Faxon barrel; it was packaged in a plastic bag and the only indication that it was what I ordered was the label on the bag! There is no printed nomenclature on the barrel at all to identify it's caliber, twist rate or manufacturer. For a barrel that neared the $400 range I expected more from Optics Planet and Faxon!!!"

"Ordered an item on Sept 29. About a week later I check the status and the only info available was that it was on backorder. I called and was told it would be in on Oct 28 and I could wait for it or cancel. When I called again I was only told it was on backorder but they would not say for how long. As of Nov 14 it is Still on backorder So I sent a message to cancel so hopefully then send a confirmation. So there was absolutely no follow up to upset me at any time yet I get 3 emails daily trying to sell me more stuff! Just send me what I ordered already!! Arg.
They show a 4.8 rating on their site so I guess that is from people that actually received what they ordered. "
