"Ordered pair of Vortex 10x42 HD binoculars at 8:30 and received order confirmation. At approximately 1:00 PM I receive an email to verify my credit card within 7days or order would be canceled. I called and was told they needed to charge up to $5 to my cc to verify. I stated I recently purchased so what’s up.

"I was looking for a "cheap" spotting scope. I found a good one with a tripod. Scope is relatively clear. Tripod is usable at best, but works for my need. I think it is a great value for the money. It's intended use is for up to 100 yard spotting at the range. It works good enough for me. Out pass that, I have no idea. I'm sure a sturdier tripod would stretch this spotting scope out further and would even be better at 100 yards. It does very good for may application....especially for $139.62 to the door using a $19.50 coupon.
