It was a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with 16 GB card, 512 GB internal memory, and 1TB MicroSD card, and unlocked which allowed me to switch Sim Cards which made it possible to call 160 different countries as a local call. Unfortunately, that made the US calls long distance, then I would have to switch cards back to make US calls local.
Since no US carrier would carry a cellphone with those specifications, I had to go to South Korea (Samsung factory) and get it from them. When they asked how soon do you want it, "I said yesterday" and this was Thursday that I was talking with them, they said that if I didn't mind paying for the extra shipping charges then my cellphone will be at my front door Monday morning. With GPS and tracking number, I was able to follow its progress to me from going through customs in South Korea then from there arriving in Alaska and going through customs there, then from there arriving in Texas, then Ohio, then Michigan and finally early Monday morning at my front door. The cellphone cost $3,000.00 plus shipping charges and I feel that it was worth it.
Having purchased from Otterbox the Defender Series Pro case which is maximum protection for cellphones, made me confident that my cellphone would last a very long time. Unfortunately, as time would tell, that was not to be. After almost four years that I put my cellphone on charge on the dining room table, which I have done countless times since I had the cellphone; within about 22 minutes the battery exploded (Yes, it was an Lithium Ion battery.) and plastic and metal flew through the sides but the explosion wasn't able to penetrate the back of the case even though the case got twisted a little bit from the explosion of the battery. That made me very grateful for Otterbox Defender Series Pro case which did as its name suggested. I thought that if the Lithium Ion battery would blow, that it would happen within a year or two which is why this occurrence took me for a complete surprise. I lost everything (The Sim Card, Internal memory, and MicroSD card.) and pictures that cannot be replaced of my wife and I travels. Google cloud did not save any pictures which makes one wonder what is Google Cloud good for. Sure Google contacts was saved, but it is incomplete and alot of it is missing which I am positive that I won't be able to recover all. It will take me awhile to recover what I can. I lost about 80% of my stock group. Fortunately, a friend was able to send the last email that I sent out which contained all the missing people. This is definitely an experience that nobody should have to go through. And now I am writing down alot of things on paper in case such an occurrence should occur again. I highly recommend an Otterbox Defender Series Pro case for one's cellphone because it's the best protection that you can possibly get for your cellphone and yourself, especially from an exploding Lithium Ion battery.
Time to purchase another cellphone. Called Samsung in South Korea and purchased the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra unlocked with 1TB internal memory. When they asked how soon do I want the cellphone, I said "yesterday" and they said that will cost extra for shipping to which I agreed to. The total cost for this new cellphone was $2,000.00 plus shipping charges which I gladly paid. And of course I purchased the Otterbox Defender Series Pro case for my new cellphone. And anytime that I purchase a new cellphone, I will always purchase an Otterbox Defender Series Pro case for it because that is the best protection that a person can get for their cellphone.

Recently, Ari is a liar in pretending to detail a warranty replacement and sending an email that was never received to my inbox. I've called the company on different occasions to request an otterbox replacement in which my case came apart. Do not trust the representatives! They start off being super nice and accommodating to include a discount for the inconvenience but nothing is resolved, no notes are in the system and leave you in limbo. Upper management needs to screen these jokers as they are a disservice to OtterBox and their customers."

"We were in an accident and out cases got damaged. I ordered a warranty replacement and my wife got hers but mine was denied because I could not provide a photo of the case. Since the case was damaged and not holding onto the phone I threw away our cases. I can not understand why my wife did not have to provide a photo and I did. Double standards and inconsistency in their warranty fulfillments. After all the years of being a loyal Otterbox customer, I will now obtain phone cases from a different manufacturer. "This is the 2nd time that I have been burnt by Otterbox, on their site they state the warranty for their phone cases is "Lifetime of the product, which is seven (7) years from the original date of purchase of the Product by a customer from an Otter-authorized dealer" But when speaking with their rep was pretty much told to bad that they no longer support the case I purchased only 7 months ago. Their warranty terms are not only misleading but a flat out untruth. I will never purchase another product of any kind from them. Buyer beware."

"I have been trying to get a hold of Otterbox for weeks now. Covid has totally shut down any means of getting a hold of customer service. Nice excuse. I can't call or chat and the model case I have (SKU:77-65239) is not even listed in their warranty section. I own a service company and have technicians with the Samsung Note 20 5G Black Defender Cases. I have always purchased Otterbox cases for my technicians phones. If this continues I will never buy an Otterbox case again. Today there are too many choices in cases to think that Otterbox is still the best. They sure charge like they think they are the best. The Otterbox cases I buy are over $60 each. Otterbox cases used to have a life time warranty almost no questions asked. Now their warranty is worthless. Get your act together Otterbox or you will soon be out of customers. I think I will go with Ballistic cases next time."

"I purchased a Realtree Defender case for my Galaxy S8 in 2018. The graphics developed some very minor wear during the 1st year warrantee period. However, in about the 14th month of owning the case, the graphics starting wearing more rapidly and can now be removed just be rubbing with my thumb. I've owned Defender cases previous to this one, and have never experienced this issue. I would not consider purchasing this style of case in the future."
