I usually in-stall pro speakers (jbl,qsc,community..ect.)I was trying to save money and thought I would just get consumer sounding speakers, but was very impressed with sound, I saw some reveiws for the front speakers models I got and the reveiws said that a sub-woofer would help out the lows, but honestly with the bass I got from them was superb, but being the audio freak I am I still got the 10" sub,powered by a yamaha 100w power amp that I had laying around, my 5.1 surround sound is thumping and the speakers sound great! I thought I was getting entry level speakers but they sound as good as the jbl control pro series, and my communinty speakers that I have thru out the house. Great Deal For The Money!!"
