"I ordered two custom workstations equipped and configured to my specification. They were delivered promptly with the correct equipment but the wrong configuration. I got RAID 0 when I ordered RAID 1. Correcting the problem meant reconfiguring the disk array and reinstalling the operating system. Unfortunately, Outside Loop activated the OSs but did not affix the Microsoft Product Key label to the computers so I had no way of knowing which key belong to which computer.
I spent the better part of a weekend installing and reinstalling Windows XP and hours on the phone with Microsoft Tech Support trying to sort things out but ultimately failed. The following Monday I called Outside Loop and was told that they received a batch of bad CDROMS from Microsoft and my machines were shipped before they realized the problem. I'm not sure I believe that story, but if true, why didn't Outside Loop inform me of the problem as soon as they knew about it? It's certainly possible that at some future time I might have needed to reinstall the operating system. What then?
If I wanted to play computer tech and spend the time to install the software and configure two workstations, I could have saved some money by just buying the parts.

"I can't tell you how much these guys at Outsideloop rule!! I purchase a lot of parts at Newegg and I could never get my computer to boot up. Fortunately I live next to Outsideloop and they went out of their way to spend hours testing a board and memory that I never even bought from them. Well, upon finding that they were defective, I returned them to newegg, but at a costly price. I was assessed a restocking fee of 15% on defective items. Then Newegg had the nerve to tell me that they would waive the fee if I bought more memory from them. Yeah right... Having went to O-loop before, I went back to them to get memory for a great price and no hassle. They even tested that for me. I can't tell you what a pleasurable experience this has been for me in regards to O-loop. They simply are the best at what they do. They exemplify in every way what customer service should be like. In any event, I'll be doing future business with Outsideloop since Newegg just lost one customer... Thanks for everything Outsideloop!"

I purchase many computer parts from a variety of sources (for a variety of computers) and have come to trust in a very few that can deliver and meet my expectations. I can easily say that Outside Loop is head and shoulders above other companies in the way of customer service.
Being in an industry where I deal with long-time clients myself, I know and respect the importance of making a customer and client happy.
My experience is this...I started on November 20th to find a very special motherboard as a gift. It was vital that it be received ASAP as the current motherboard was on its last leg at that time and it took hours of messing with to get it to boot.
I ordered from newegg after a searching for the best prices and availability. I received the board and it was dead on arrival.
We had the CPU and all other parts just sitting and collecting dust while we waited for this motherboard to come.
The item was returned and another sent, from the same batch I understood it, and this was also dead. I paid for overnight to get the second sent and did a cross-ship, so I had 2 large fees and no working board at that time!
The second board was returned and now it would be 1-2 weeks before it would come back in stock.
I called numerous times and they had no clue as to the ETA and it kept changing. They were very rude at times and wouldn't offer me any help. I have never had a bad experience with them before.
On the day it was supposed to be in stock and sent to me, overnighted -- they changed the ETA to 1 week from that day.
I had enough and didnt have a week to spare, so I went searching for another site. I spent about 5 hours calling local shops, not so local and national places to find this specific motherboard. I was about to give up when I found Outside Loop.
I called to find it was in stock (when other sites said it was, it was not).
They confirmed it was in stock, they would charge my card and ship that same day, overnight.
This may seem like no big deal, but being 2 hours behind them I thought I was about 3 hours too late for overnight that day.
I was treated VERY well and received the board, the following day, in perfect working order.
The computer is up and working and our stress is GONE.
