"I am in the same trade as overclockers .. what a good business they have made out of it .. good luck to them , but customer service is above all the most important .. when i make a sale . i want you to come back .. i am not the cheapest because i am not the biggest , but we are one of the few companys who send out a direct replacement .. no need to wait for rma`s as long as i am satisfied i can send the component back i replace it straight away ... im not here to advertise my company so no links .. i just think the customers are nearly always right :)
Yes i have purchased from them too .. travelled miles as they said it was in stock only to get there and it wasnt

"Have spent over £5000 with this company and never had a problem. First problem I had turned vry nasty. Agreed to refund one item from order but 'forgot' to put money back on my card. Isolated problem with system to motherboard - tried in numerous systems. Sent back and they claimed it was working fine. + Charged me £30 for the 'testing'.
Still unresolved - impossible to get through on phone. Not allowed to email them. Try using their 'web note' system... rubbish."
"Used this store until I had to deal with a Graphics card RMA
Original card develops fault
1st RMA takes around 16 days(no-email/constant engaged tone/or 6 min ring then cut off)£5 for mailing item to them
RMA card arrives via mail in a jiffy bag, upon opening the card back plate is bent, I manage to test the card, which not surprisingly is broke. Try to contact this shower of charlatans again almost impossible, takes a further 7 days to contact them. Upon me making the point, of my utter astonishment of such a high end VGA card being sent through royal mail in a plastic bag, they respond "all them cards are sent out that way". £5 for mailing item to them
I pay an extra £10 for a retail/boxed version, card arrives via courier total RMA time 10 days.
RMA card dead on arrival
Over the next 4 weeks--
I contact them again(another 4 days of endless engaged tones or the 6 min ring)
The RMA support(used very loosely) are cheeky/unhelpful/cast aspersions on the validity of my RMA request/put me on hold/cut me off/give me wrong e-mail addresses for the manager/never return calls.
I write 2 letters, to which I receive no replies. With the card in the box and my computer gathering dust, I contact the VGA manufacturer and request RMA.
I have been pondering joining and writing this rating for some time, what finally prompted me to join was the arrival of my phone bill, the 6 min cut off looks very profitable.
Ring their customer support line, it speaks volumes of what they represent

"Always slow to respond to e-mails, often confused responses from different individuals, asking you to resend information.
Before christmas stopped accepting any e-mails, and since then, had no responses whatsoever from the webform support."
"Never in my life have i dealt with such a shoddy company as this. complete and utter disregard for the sales of goods act 1979.
Goods for the value of £350 (graphics card) were ordered and received in early Jan 2005 and after 3 weeks use started to show signs of major fault. Under OCUK advice I was informed to format my computer, update drivers etc, which I did over the next few weeks without success. Upon contacting them again I was informed that as it was now outside of 28 days my warranty was with the manufacturer and not OCUK (this actually is not the case under the sales of goods act).
After many weeks of waiting for a replacement (they claimed to be out of stock) I eventually had to get Trading Standards and a Magazine watchdog involved. Within 24 hours OCUK are on the phone asking me to “take my choice of what ever graphics card is in stock and just pay the difference between what you originally paid and the price now”. I opted for a slightly more expensive card that was now only £10 more than the original one I had bought and was assured that they would charge and credit my credit card with the appropriate amounts and the transaction would cost me no more than £10.
Next day I check my credit card and I’ve been charged the full amount and debited the value of the card as it is on sale now thus costing me a further £40. To top it all of the new card has already started to show signs of failure (not overclocked) and OCUK are denying all knowledge of the credit/debit conversation.
Do yourself a favour, no matter what you need and how desperate you are DO NOT buy anything from these clowns!!. "
"Abysmal customer service, and complete disregard of the Sale of Goods Act. I chose them because their site look professional, their forums are good and their products look of a high quality... 2 faulty products within the same order much agrevation later, I can quite categorically state that this is the worst case of after sales service I have *ever* experienced (and i order almost everything online!). From now on, I will choosing another retailer for my PC hardware needs."
"I ordered an MSI K8N Diamond motherboard and PSU from OcUK with the "in stock" button showing as green. However this was incorrect and I was stuck having paid them the money and nothing to show for it. Spent TWO days trying to get through, to find the line either always engaged or just never picked up. On 2 occasions during my charade of trying to contact them the phone was answered then promptly put down again.
I was forced to email them threatening legal action and police intervention unless I had some kind of feedback or information promptly. Still no reply! I tried reaching them again and success at the end of day two. I explained the situation and made my intentions crystal clear. The PSU and motherboard are supposedly in the post now, but this has cost me 3 important regular clients, and as a result in being in a small business, this has knocked my customers confidence in me.
DO NOT ORDER FROM OVERCLOCKERS.CO.UK UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
Even if you're desperate for the part and they show as in stock, do yourself a favour and find somewhere else.
I'd rather change careers than have to order from them ever again."
"I ordered a radion 9700pro from these guys. NEVER again. The card failed to work so i proptly called them. No luck, engaged all the time. I faxed them, no reply! I phoned my credit card company and they are now dealing with it as a dispute.
NEVER EVER Order from these guys - con men."
"I ordered a Radeon 9800 from Overclockers which was supposed to bundle with a game called Hitman. The game never arrived, I could not get through on their phoneline (despite being charged for the privelidge). I eventually faxed them, have had no reply and no game.
This is the second time in a row that I have received less than what I ordered from Overclockers. I ordered a hard disk OEM, however when I checked the serial number and manaufacturer code, it was a rebadged version of an older model.
I will never buy from them again. I recommend checking thoroughly any purchases especially their own brand and OEM goods to make sure they are what they say they are.
Prices are very competetive though, if you can put up with shoddy service they might be worth a go.
"
"Bought a 9700pro from this lot - big mistake.
I've made plenty of internet purchases and this has got to be my worst by far.
First card arrives promptly - no problem there. Card is suffering from screen artifacts - immediately tried to call overclockers. Spent hours trying to get through permanantely engaged support line.
Eventually, phone start ringing - after 5minutes someone picks it up. They were pleasant enough - arranged an RMA and I then returned the card.
Two weeks later no sign of card. Got through to their call queuing system - after 30minutes queuing I eventually gave up.
Eventually, after calling sales line(also permanantely engaged) I got a returned call from support - card was then promptly dispatched.
Recieved a £100 card in a jiffy bag, fan was hanging off, no manual, no cables.
Not suprisingly card failed after a few minutes.
Am now trying again to get through to their support line - got through to sales but would not transfer call or take message. If I ever get through I'm going to ask for a refund, but from other comments I've seen, there's not much chance of this being honoured by overclockers.
If you're thinking of buying anything from overclockers, please don't waste your time, because believe me it'll be a lot of wasted time and money if you have any issues."
"This time the goods turned up on time but packaged terribly. The RAM was loose in the box without any antistatic protection. The packaging was of poor quality, it also was damaged and opened on one side, as not tape had been applied. I went back to their website to complain only to find that they have removed all the contact email addresses and you cannot get through on their very expensive telephone number. They obviously don’t care about their customers, so I won’t ever buy from them again, and will warn others in the business not to either. "
"Do yourself a big favour and never order from these scammers, first time i ordered a 200GB hardrive, it came stuffed in a jiffy bag. I didn't learnt my lesson then i ordered one of their OCuk Ati Radeon 9700 PRO Cards since it was on offer and at that price it was irresistible. The Card also came stuffed in a jiffy bag, you would expect an item as fragile as this to be well pakaged in a box with airbags etc... Installed the card and the specs wasn't right, card runs slower than it is rated, after doing some reserch i found out the card isn't actually a Radeon 9700 PRO at all, infact it is actually an inferior Radeon 9500 hard modded to perform like a Radeon 9700 PRO, can't do much since i void my cards warranty to find out what it actually is. Its like buying a Pentium 4 but recieving a Celeron in disguise.
Will never buy from them again and so should you!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!"
"Overclockers no longer accept emails; They havent even finished dealin with an RMA of mine that im still waiting on via email. There customer support is shoddy and it is a long time to get through.
I highly disrecommend this company.
Overclockers.co.uk also known as ESNET LTD did refuse my refusal of acceptance of the goods under the long distance trading act. I mentioned to them that this was illegal. I spent approximately £1800 with them on this occassion but have spent approximately £5000 or more with them. I am very disapointed as you may imagine.
Overclockers.co.uk/ESNET LTD also refused my returning of goods within a week or purchase under the grounds that the goods were "cutting edge". This is also unnaceptable obviously!
Thanks,
Adam Bull "
"I've ordered 4 times from this company, I've had to call them everytime (what a nightmare, can't get through for ages!) because they always say that it's my first order and I can't have the goods shipped elsewhere. No problems so far although my current order has gone 'missing'. OVERCLOCKERS - Invest in some more phone lines!!!!!"
"No email. Phnoe always busy. Product descriptions are not accurate. Half of order was faulty and I have restored to paper mail to request an RMA to return the faulty equipment."
