"SCAM on low priced items through pricewatch. They cancel the order and ask you to fill out a credit card verification form that will take 30 days to be approved. This card is in my name and my billing address and they claim that it was flagged. DONT WATE YOUR TIME buying there items at price wacth they will not honor them, its just bait and switch to get you to there store and buy higher price items. I'll take my money else where, their loss."
"Ordered an AMD XP 2600+ motherboard Combo, everything arived at once on schedule, unfortuantly the motherboard was bad, called up Customer service they said go ahead and return it and they would send another. I asked if they could send another brand cause i've heard bad things about the one I was orignally shiped and they said no problem.. Sent it off today we'll see what happens.... Well its been about 13 days called them to see what was up they said they tested the board adn it was bad and that they were sending the new one out today. I requested that they send a different brand this time and the nice lady on the phone said they would. The new board should be here sometime next week, its sat now. So far i am very pleased with the service. I would surely buy from this company again."
"I had a very good experience with this seller. I ordered 128MB PC2100 RAM...they emailed me the next day saying that the RAM was not compatible with my motherboard. I (knowing that is WAS compatible, it was generic) told them not to "upgrade my order to Atlas Brand RAM" and they emailed me back the day after telling me that the item had shipped and would arrive between the 16 and the 20. I received the item on the 15! Excellent!! Works fine in the motherboard too. Great seller! Would definitely recommend!"
"I ordered a motherboard/cpu combo and I received it ontime. I then assembled the pc and it was slowand I use all quality parts. I called tech support and they would not advance replace the motherboard. They wanted me to ship it back at my expense and wait for them to check it and then decide wether they would replace it or not. Meaning I would be without a pc for another 2 weeks"
"Took them 11 days to process, ship and deliver a motherboard/cpu combo that they supposedly had in stock. I even paid extra for expidited air shipping through fedex. These people SUCK and I will never use them again. BEWARE....RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN!"
"My last buy with this store was a motherboard, but I have purchased memory and some other items over the last two years. I am very concerned with the condition of merchandise when I buy mail order. I find a lot of companies sell products that are not really intended for the US market and sometimes the US company will not service or support the item. All of the stuff I have purchased from pcboost.com has been new and comes in the original box with everything sealed. This is something to look for. With computer parts, if you get anything that has a label in another language be careful. I have checked with ASUS aboout my board and they said the part is a US model and has a US warranty. Everything went well with the delivery and the sale (as it should). No problems to report. I would buy from pcboost.com again."
"I would recomend staying away from this merchant. In July, 2003 my company ordered 4 128MB RAM modules. June rolled around and we still had not received our order. So we called or emailed pcboost.com(can't remember which) and they told us that we they had shipped the order and if we had not received it we needed to send them a fax saying so. Did that the same day they told us to. At this time I became very busy and almost forgot about the order. So October rolls around and we still have not recieved anything from them. I call the other day to ask about the order and talked to a very rude person at customer support who told me that they had sent out the replacement order a month or so ago. I finally get her to realize that we hadn't recieved anything and that she needed to look again and low and behold they never actually sent out the replacement order(even though they had recieved my fax fine). Supposidly they were going to finally ship out our order that day (using FedEx this time) and email us with a tracking number. Two days later still no response from them so I called again. Who ever I talked to seemed confused about the order, still didn't have a tracking number, and didn't even know if they had sent anything out yet. So it is a few months later and we still have not received out order. Hopefully it will show up before 2004.

"I ordered a mobo/proc combo with a syntaxsv266ad and amd xp2200. sounded like a great deal, right? The shipping took next to an eternity, and the parts didn't work. i obviously couldn't figure out what was wrong since i have no way to test it. the computer didn't even turn on... I called the local computer store and they said when it doesn't turn on, then you've got a bad processor.
so i call up pcboost and they tell me to send it back and they'll replace it (either mobo/proc or both). well A MONTH later, i get it and they tell me that the processer was "physically damaged - warranty voided". so i figure i'll just buy a new proc and refuse to pay for the old one. well sure enough, after i get the new proc, the computer starts but the motherboard is busted! it won't read the ram. i ordered the ram from a DIFFERENT company. i went back to that local store and had them test the ram. just fine.
you must remember i bought all of my parts to be compatible. so that isn't the problem. anyway, now i'm going to refuse to pay for the motherboard and proc, and buy a new motherboard from the local shop.
to sum everything up, this company gave me nothing but a chance to waste my money and my time (at this point 5 weeks). PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH PCBOOST.COM."
"Ordered 1 stick of PC3200 DDR Ram and received it three days later. Very good deal. Second time I ordered from PC Boost and will do so again."
"I ordered 3 sticks of 512MB PC133 RAM. While the order was shipped by Fedex ground, according to Fedex website it was left at the apartment door, however it appears either the driver or a helpful neighbor has made away with it. Imagine my surprise to have no product and no money. I filed a claim with pcboost and they initiated a report with Fedex. Later I also filed a claim with the credit card company (amex), asking them to suspend payment until the matter was resolved. PCBoost really didnt like that, leaving me nasty messages and reporting me back to AmEx as a possible fraud. Furthermore, they said if Fedex reimburses them for the lost item, they will keep that money, as well as the money AmEx paid them. Crooks, no other word for it.
The company's customer service rep sounded on the phone like she wanted to strangle me, and not at all helpful in trying to resolve the issue.
Now I've bought many things online and will undoubtedly buy many more, never will I ever do business with pcboost again. Unbelievable."
"Ordered a XP2200+ and Syntax 266AD motherboard. Great price, and the items work great when they arrived.
CPU corner pin slightly bent during shipping, but easy to fix. Also, three days between billing date and ship date. (Mon-Thurs)
Other than the slow shipping, this looks like a pretty solid operation, and I'd recommend buying here."
"Ordered a cpu from them. While it did take a little longer than I would have liked, it did show up a day before they said it would. Cpu came in perfect condition except for on pin in the corner had been bent from the packaging it was in. This was easy to fix and it's been running fine since I installed it. They seem like a good operation."
"terrible!!!!! i ordered a combo deal (P4 1.9ghz&Mb and DDR PC2100)with in house pretest. Upon Delivery get the packaging it is totally unexceptible and i am missing the memory. i immediately called to straighten this out.
i get this big explanation on how it is not possible because they have serial #'s on all the parts. then she continues to tell me they have a new packaging person and he may have placed it somewhere other then in the product boxes. So i check the bubble pack (non-ESD)nothing. Then abruptly she tells me that she will call me back. After she checks with their shipper/reciever i get the call, i am told they turned the place upside down looking for the missing DDR PC2100 Ram. Then I am told she would have to file a lost report. i am thinking to my self how could the shipping company lose the part if they (pcboost) never shipped Once again i am told she would me back. The next day i get two messages on my answering machine saying they are going to ship out the missing RAM, but the message afterwards says that the RAM is not in my ordered package.
Pcboost does not have it business in working order.
At ALL COST AVOID THEM "
"I've placed two orders for 256MB DDR DIMMs, and both times it's taken them a few days to ship the items out. There's no tracking number for USPS, but it eventually gets there. You can't beat the price, and the broker grade DDR works great."
"I ordered 2 sticks of 512mb pc133 cas 2 ram from this company on may 6th. The order was shipped on thw 8th and arived on the 12th. I quickly learned that one of the sticks did not work, so I sent it back. A day after it arrived it I recived an email saying it had been processed and a replacment had been shipped. I recived the replacment on the 27th. It too was none functanial. Looking at the invoice it stated the stick had checked out ok. After 2 un answered emails I have sent it back for a refund. I will update at the conclusion of this mess.
*update* My money was returned a few days ago, not that I recived any communication from the company"
