"This was my 5th separate order of towels order from PersonalThrows, and I am SO DISAPPOINTED! The towels I had previously purchased from them had come out beautiful. But this last order of 3 double sided towels all came out very poorly -- washed out, dark and with little contrast. My complaints to customer service were met with perfunctory dismissal. The only conclusion I can reach is that they must have changed their method of production and can no longer achieve the excellent results they formerly could. The towels bore no resemblance to the sharp, high quality photos from which they were made."

Takes the guess work out of making unique christmas gifts for my family and friends . Just love their photo blankets and pillows. "I was in a crunch for time since i had to go out of town in a matter of couple of days. I got in contact with the company and explained I needed to have a throw made under the time that is required. Needless to say, my order was put in and I received my picture blanket. I was concerned about the quality since it was a rush job. The quality and work exceeded what I expected and I am grateful for that. I gave the blanket as a gift and when they opened the blanket you would think I just gave them a million dollars. "I ordered Polar Fleece, when you think of polar fleece you think thick, soft, warm. WELL this was the complete opposite. The um I guess I can't call it a throw, the material I received was as thin as the sheet on my bed. The pictures were okay, but I am embarrassed to give these pieces of material as gifts and call them throws. And of course they are NOT willing to work with you, giving me the excuse that not everyone wants a heavy throw. NO but I would like quality. I purchased a throw in Walmart, $50 cheaper than this and the quality was better than this. I will NEVER recommend or order from Personal Throws again. I purchased large gift bags I need to return and buy small ones for this horrible gift I will be presenting for Mother's day. "

"This company does have some good products. I have been a satisfied customer five times. However, the one time I was not satisfied with quality, they hated it for me. They did generously offer me 25% off of another product if I wanted to try again. I basically have a $60 blanket that looks like someone ironed a bad image onto a lumpy blanket. I honestly thought I was ordering the same product that I had previously been so happy with. They informed me that they stand (or hide) behind their terms of service which says if you order the wrong thing, too bad for you. The products are too expensive to take a risk like this. Beware! And if you need customer service, don't bother. And if you write a less than favorable review on their website, it won't be published. They only show good ones. "

"The quality of the printing on my throw was extremely poor. It was very, very dark. It did not look like the pictures I uploaded. I contacted the company to see if I could have another made without all the darkness as this blanket was not even suitable to give as a gift. They were not helpful. Unfortunately, I am stuck with a poor quality gift that they will not redo or refund. It will be thrown away. Be careful. I will never use personal throws again. "

"Ordered 2 throws on Black Friday. I ordered both of them to be 'fleece'...figuring the photo quality would be better. I was kinda put off that in order to 'preview' your product before they process your order you are charged $20. That's $20 wasted right there! But I was worried about a photo collage and wanted the placement to be nice. They did do a nice job of placing the photos on the blanket and I did pay the fee...but ended up approving the first draft anyhow. So I would recommend letting them place the photos and saving your 'preview' money. Incidentally Ive never had any company charge me for this before! I order a lot of this type of stuff.

Now a word about the 'quality' of the fleece! Don't expect much! I was very DISAPPOINTED at the THINNESS of the fleece! I was expecting more fullness since its a throw! Kind of like fleece pjs. Instead its a very very THIN fabric...more like the thickness of a tablecloth. In fact..these photo fleece blankets could be called 'photo FELT' blankets because truly that is what this fabric is! Ive read their 'guarantee' and there is no way I would be able to get a refund:

So 'stuck' I am...giving two Christmas WALL HANGINGS away...you really cant call them throws or blankets.

I will still give them as gifts because Christmas is not far off.....but I wont order from here again. I didn't contact the company because I don't have time to mess around with returns. Not sure about that end of it.

Also...there was a sticker on one of the throws from their business and when I pulled it off...some of the color was removed from the photo! *wondering now if these can be washed without fading???

Again....wont be ordering again.
