There was streaks and a ribbing effect on a large portion of the material. "The first 2 times I ordered, the footed pajamas were tall enough and PLENTY wide enough, but so tight from crotch to shoulder that they were awful to wear. I finally found a second size chart, which included the "Body Length". By that one I was able to determine the correct size, and placed an order for 2 more. These hang in the legs, but I'm so happy with my fuzzy footies, I don't care how long the legs are! Shipping was great, prices and selection were great... I'm a very picky person, and the only thing I would change is for them to include "Body Length" in both sets of size charts, and maybe to make pjs for 5'7" gals who I suppose must have a longer than average torso, maybe call it a half size, or make As and Bs or something. It seems odd that I have to order for someone who is 7' tall in order to fit into my pjs without pain! Anyway, it finally worked out, and I know my mom (who is 5'1") will love the ones I can't wear :-) (ps, all you readers who are considering being first time buyers- I would say 2 things: 1) I weigh almost 350 lbs at 5'7", which is to say, my waist is 50" and my hips are 60". The "regular" sizes fit me around with plenty of room to spare. The Xs are just fine, but unnecessary. And, 2) They seem thinnish, but are so warm and cozy and fuzzy, I can wear them outside in the winter (it's been about 30 degrees) and I feel just fine. I wish my roommate had some so we could turn down the thermostat inside. It can get hot in these inside! Mm cozy cozy cozy!)

~~~Okay, when I wrote that, I had just barely opened the 3rd order and quickly tried them on. Now that I have been wearing them around, giving a set to my mom (who is almost as gaga about them as I am) and doing a variety of activities in them, I feel more strongly about them, and wanted to post this NEW UPDATED REVIEW:

This was my 3rd time ordering from PajamaCity (dalmcorp.com), and I was even happier than previously! My only complaint is that I have to order them long enough for a 7' tall person, even though I'm only 5'7" so that the "body length" (crotch to shoulder) is long enough, leaving feet of material pooled around my calves and ankles (which I am completely willing to deal with for my lovely, lovely footies). (~ps all the size charts appear to have all 3 measurements now, yeay!) Oh! Also, I'd like to see the little snap tab at the neck, so big kids match little kids :-) Other than that, I am thrilled, delighted, beaming! Delivery is always more than satisfactory, the material (umm, the cozy ones, haven't tried the flannel, yet) is so thin and light I thought they'd be cheapy and cold, but not so!! OMG, so hot and cozy in my footies! I agonized for 2 decades after I outgrew my little girl footies when I was 11. No footies? How I got through those years is still a mystery. Footielessness Syndrome had thrown me into a deep depression... I lost interest in activities I once enjoyed, I became a misanthrope, and gained quite a bit of weight. Now that I have discovered footies for big girls, I have begun repairing relationships with family, and have been slowly but steadily shedding pounds. (I'm not dieting or exercising). I've been able to stop seeing my therapist and am leading a more healthy productive lifestyle. I am happy again. I've left instructions that I am to be buried in my footies.
