"I had a bad shopping experience today. I picked out some shoes that were in the middle of a row that was marked 60% off at both ends of the row and above the middle of the row. The cashier said that the shoes were not on sale because the price tag ended in 98. Those shoes should not have been on that row! As a consumer I should not have to read fine print when I am shopping. The word selective should never be on a sale sign.I am very disappointed with Stage Stores for using deceptive merchandising practices. Especially when CEO Michael L Glazer receives over 3 million dollars in compensation annually. I bought the shoes because they were perfect but I was so upset I had to go home and eat some comfort food!"
