"Many years ago I ordered from PaperDirect a box of thin card stock for printing my own business cards on a striking graphic design preprinted by PaperDirect. Each letter-sized sheet of their card stock contains ten standard-sized business cards, each surrounded by micro-perforations to allow neat separation of the cards after you run the sheets through your printer. I got very good, consistent results with this business card stock throughout the PaperDirect box of 50 sheets (which made me a total of 500 business cards).
As a started running out of business cards, I tried to reorder a new box from PaperDirect with their "old" design. It turned out they had discontinued that design; but, by scrolling through their website design offerings, I found a striking new business-card design that matched my text format. However, I also learned that their business card stock is now somewhat thicker than the stock they sold me many years ago -- and I worried that the new, thicker paper stock would jam in my laser printer. So I called PaperDirect and voiced my concerns to their customer service rep. She offered to send me several samples of their new business card stock to test in my printer. I had to pay $5 for the samples, and they offered a $5 discount coupon that I could redeem against a subsequent order. Receiving the sample sheets through the mail, I found my printer can indeed handle the thicker card stock. So I ordered a new box of business card stock with their new design. Even though I couldn't use the discount coupon (since it requires a minimum $30 order, more than my order totaled), I feel pleased with the new batch of printable business card sheets. Fine product, excellent service."
