"There is no vulgarity in my title "Hit and Miss" which is an apt title for my experience with Parts Geek.

The "hit" part is in reference to the most recent order for a driver side mirror for a two door 2003 Honda Civic Ex. That order was delivered quickly and the part was right on accurate. Parts Geek deserves a 5 star rating for that one.

The "miss" part is in reference to an order I placed last year for the exact same part but even though it was delivered quickly, the mirror that was delivered was for a four door 2003 Honda Civic Ex and did not fit my 2 door Civic Ex. Because my life was in turmoil at that time, I was not able to check the part and try to install it until 6 months later when after I paid a hundred dollars plus to have it painted, I found it would not fit my 2 door Honda Civic Ex and, of course, Parts Geek would not accept a return at that late date. So I had to eat that wrongly sent mirror and the paint job. I understand that it was my bad luck that I was so late in finding out that Parts Geek had sent me the wrong part but still, it is a perfectly good mirror for a 4 door 2003 Honda Civic Ex. I could have sent it back and we could have discussed it via phone. But they will not bend one inch for an unfortunate extenuating circumstance for a customer. Therefore, I have had to pay twice for the order and for two paint jobs. I am not at all pleased with the way I am treated by Parts Geek."
