"The Carmel facility is BEAUTIFUL. I feel my children are safe. My issues with the school mainly are around school leadership's lack of communication and staff turnover. The teachers my kids have now are wonderful. I'm hoping they stay."

We were very sad to leave her last school and now feel great every day we being her. The staff is amazing and so welcoming. She's been very stanger danger woth new people and happy she has started to be comfortable with her teachers!"

"The only incident we had with a teacher was immediately taken care of by admin and they were genuine, comforting, and professional about the solution. "Joined school because of immediate availability. Some teachers are fantastic and really care for the students, while others look to be counting down the clock everyday and dislike their job. Front desk staff is often not friendly. High turnover of talented teachers. Management explained the hike in tuition was to provide better training and benefits to teachers but in reality neither are practiced and the quality of teaching continues to decline in my child’s class."

"Great location, good staff, excellent environment with lot of open space and very clean ambiance. Director is friendly and approachable. Director and teachers make effort to connect with the kid and help the kid settle soon. Only thing lacking is a well planned out schedule and following the schedule to keep the kids learning progress on track."

"The front office staff don’t seem engaged on a daily basis nor do I feel like they have support for the classrooms. When special occasions occur sure they help. I would rather just attend church operations and offerings than trying to do two things at a time. Maybe I’m a wet blanket at this point. I don’t see the other parents support the staff or teachers which is sad."

"We have been with the same company but different state for over a year. Never had an incident. A child an amazing child, very smart and responses to discipline very well. For some reason, after being here, a child developed a bad habit. Not sure where it came from, however we have noted and started disciplining it right away. One day, the school called and asked to pick up my child right away. I was so far away from school; with the traffic it is over an hour. They told me "IF YOU DON'T PICK UP YOUR CHILD IN AN HOUR, WE WILL CALLED THE CPA!!" Woww!!!! Never experienced THE CPA but never would want to or wish on anyone. This is beyond a horrible communication. This is a bad threat to parents. Please be very careful with this place. "

"Last year our experience was great! As of late our experience has been really challenging. We’d love to see quality hires, teachers with support from their leadership, teachers who have the right resources to do their job well. We’d love to see lesson plans, and more than that teaching being done beyond free play. We’d love to be able to drop our child off and be confident that they will be safe in that classroom because the teachers feel they are able to adequately care for and teach that number of students. We’d love to have a leadership team engaged with parents and staff and encouraging feedback and sharing what was done with that feedback. I would not be able to recommend this school to a friend at this time."

"Overall we have really enjoyed our experience at Pathways. Of course there are always small things. The one thing I would say is there needs to be a focus on consistency with good staff. We pay a lot for our kids to go there, it would be good to raise the rates of what the teachers are paid and focus on the culture so they are motivated to stay. The older children get the harder (and the more they act out) it is when teachers are not consistent."
