"I ordered an umbrella stand July, and in a separate order an umbrella. Both products assured delivery within 7 days. Two weeks later we receive an email that they cancelled the umbrella stand and refunded that money. No explanation was provided in the email. Trying to reach them by phone requires over 30 minute hold times. When I got through finally (after giving up the first day), they said the stand was out if stock, but that they could send me a different one for 30% more money. They assured me the umbrella would ship on Monday, 2 days later, so we ordered the stand. Now, 9 days since that phone call, and 25 days since placing the original order they couldn't even provide me with any information about its status. They promised to call me back Friday and did not. I was told they would communicate directly to my email address as email was currently going to my wife's address Later that day they sent an email, but not to me as they had agreed, that they would get back to me within 24 business hours, what ever that means. Attempting to respond to that email resulted in getting the mail back as undeliverable. Summers are short here. I totally regret doing business with this company, and am expecting to need to cancel the umbrella order after wasting a month with this company, to find one elsewhere. We did get the stand, which is pretty useless without the umbrella. It looks very solid, like it would work fine..... with an umbrella! BTW, they would not apply their $25 refund to the original umbrella stand that was not received in 7 days, despite telling me it was being cancelled 14 days after ordering it, nor would they credit that amount towards the more expensive umbrella stand we did get.
Update: We were just told that they are now estimating shipping to be another month from now. We are cancelling the order. But they probably feel good because they got to sell us a base by promising the umbrella would be shipped within a day or two after."
"I ordered the Montclair 3-piece patio set from Hanover in Bronze / Ocean Blue. I was very pleased with the communication from Patio Products when there needed to be a delay in shipping because the product was not in stock. I decided to wait for delivery because the product was exactly what I was looking for. I'm glad I did!!! The set was delivered by the newly promised delivery date. I am VERY happy to say the the 3-piece set looks very much like it does in the photos online - which was a great relief to me since I was trying to match the color of the fabric of my current patio cushions! The furniture is quite sturdy for it's elegant styling! And the icing on the cake was how easy it was to put together! The furniture pieces were wrapped and packed really well, all of the hardware pieces were packed great (and included extra pieces for ALL small parts!), and the instructions were clear and easy to read. "I got one email telling me to check the website for shipping info in 24 hours. After a WEEK with no more info about the order on the website, I got a second email asking me if the order was delivered. The website STILL said it hadn't been shipped yet. I tried to call cust service, but the message said that the only way to communicate was via chat ... chat said I was 96th (!!) in line, and the wait was over 90 minutes (!!!) ... 90 minutes later, I was still 22nd in line ... I gave up.
BUT, today the order was delivered. And, essentially, right as it would have been expected. A teensy more effort to update your customers on order status would remove all bad taste. Kind of stupid, and unnecessary. Too bad!
That said, if you don't mind not knowing if your order has even been looked at until is mysteriously arrives, what I purchased was a good deal, exactly as described and arrived within the estimate listed on the site."

"When I ordered they discovered my product was out of stock. They sent me an email letting me know they would try to find my product somewhere else. "Received order about 4 weeks sooner than I was quoted. I haven't opened the box yet until I get my gazebo installed (estimated another week) so I haven't seen the patio furniture yet. It's well covered with plastic in case of inclement weather. The delivery person gets an A+. He was super nice and very accommodating. "
