Small Purchase, but quick shipping and received what was expected.
"I was looking for a waterproofing product for jackets and they had what I was looking for at the best price (including shipping). I was concerned a little that this company could be one of those scam sites, since there weren't many reviews out there, but it clearly was not. A company is more likely to get reviews when there are problems. There were none."

Great prices, but then they don't ship
"I ordered an umbrella stand July, and in a separate order an umbrella. Both products assured delivery within 7 days. Two weeks later we receive an email that they cancelled the umbrella stand and refunded that money. No explanation was provided in the email. Trying to reach them by phone requires over 30 minute hold times. When I got through finally (after giving up the first day), they said the stand was out if stock, but that they could send me a different one for 30% more money. They assured me the umbrella would ship on Monday, 2 days later, so we ordered the stand. Now, 9 days since that phone call, and 25 days since placing the original order they couldn't even provide me with any information about its status. They promised to call me back Friday and did not. I was told they would communicate directly to my email address as email was currently going to my wife's address Later that day they sent an email, but not to me as they had agreed, that they would get back to me within 24 business hours, what ever that means. Attempting to respond to that email resulted in getting the mail back as undeliverable. Summers are short here. I totally regret doing business with this company, and am expecting to need to cancel the umbrella order after wasting a month with this company, to find one elsewhere. We did get the stand, which is pretty useless without the umbrella. It looks very solid, like it would work fine..... with an umbrella! BTW, they would not apply their $25 refund to the original umbrella stand that was not received in 7 days, despite telling me it was being cancelled 14 days after ordering it, nor would they credit that amount towards the more expensive umbrella stand we did get. Update: We were just told that they are now estimating shipping to be another month from now. We are cancelling the order. But they probably feel good because they got to sell us a base by promising the umbrella would be shipped within a day or two after."

2 weeks since ordering basic items, still waiting
"I have used this company before. Good prices. However, if one can't get an order in a reasonable time period, that doesn't matter. So currently I can't access my order details on their website due to some error on their part. I can't reach customer service as if one chooses to wait on the line a message repeats itself every 20 seconds that you can get a call back or wait on the line. Waiting got me nowhere. Very frustrating. I only gave two stars as I had better experience in the past. Not quick ever, but not this slow."

Super Slow shipping and terrible communication about shipping
"I ordered three things, first two came in quickly. Third item which was a piece of rope remained unshipped for another week and a half (items shipped were useless without the third item). Then it changed to "In Process". Using chat was a joke. Chat says your are first in line. Half hour later and 15 messages saying "you are first in line" nothing had changed. I gave up. Then I called after waiting five minutes, a messaged tells me I am 181st in line. But they offer a call back. The call back came about an hour later. The agent told me that since it said "in Process" it meant it was packed and ready to ship and would go out later that day or tomorrow. (and it was going to ship from the other coast). For the next 3 days it remained as "In Process". I tried sending an email inquiry. I received a form letter email back full of excuses with nothing specific to me twice (but different form letters). Finally 4 days after it went from not shipped to "in process" It now says shipped. It is supposed to arrive in a week, which will mean, if it arrives in time, 19 days. How long is the sailing season in New England? 19 days is a major chunk of that time. I wouldn't order again from West Marine for something I need. I forgot to mention that they sent me someone elses order too, which I had to wait in line at the post office to receive. The couldn't figure out who should have gotten it. Maybe it was your order?"

Customer service was good, once all was figured out.
"Originally I was told that they could accommodate a special issue I has, but later I was told that they could not. Once this happened, they processed a refund very quickly. Glasses were never made, so I can't give feedback on the glasses themselves. I felt they were a good company that for a differentbrype of glasses I could order from them in the future."

Wrong product on website, poor follow up with customer service
"I ordered seat covers for my 2014 Grand Cherokee. The rear covers only have one choice on their website. The ones that I received were for an SRT, which my car is not. The website does not state this either. I e-mailed them a detailed letter explaining the situation and how I had had conversations with the manufacturer, Coverking, and that they gave me the correct model number for the right pattern and that I needed Autoanything to arrange for an exchange. I received an e-mail saying that I needed to telephone them. I telephone them and the agent just did not get it and just said I needed to return the old covers. When I explained that I needed them quickly, and asked how long it would take, he would not research it and just answered, "a while". When I told him that their website listed the wrong product, he did not seem to care at all. He really didn't get the questions and concerns that I had. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, he said they were all at a meeting (were they really?). I asked if a supervisor could call me back when the meeting was over, he said that they could do that. Never heard back from AutoAnything! How much effort is needed to address a problem that this company caused? My seat covers are not entirely correct, some clips won't attach, some extra flaps too, but as I have a dog and my old seat covers are gone, I can't continue working on this. I had already spent a lot of time working with Coverking to discover the problem. So I guess I am stuck with what I have."

They used to be a good company, but......
"I have been purchasing dog meds from Allivet for years, but three times in a row now they have failed to ship in a timely manner resulting in me needing to go to the vets to get emergency meds to cover me. First time they just failed to ship the meds. I called and they did 2-day ship at their own cost, Arrived after I had run out of meds. This time, I ordered on a Thursday, 2 different meds. The one that had the prescription on file I was told would ship out the next day. It did not ship out for 5 days and took 11 days to arrive. The second med, they needed to procure the prescription (which they recieved the same day). I called them on Friday and was told that both meds would go out that day. Now it is 11 days later. 4 days ago I e-mailed to question why the gabapentin had not shipped yet. I received a note saying it would be shipped out that day 4-day. I received a notice that it had been shipped. Today I discovered through tracking that it had never been shipped. Now they are saying they will ship overnight, but I need to buy another week's supply in case it is not shipped again. I ran out twice now and for the second time I am purchasing from the Vet emergency supplies. Their lower price is negated by the poor shipping follow through. Not worth dealing with them any more."

Unless you are near a store don't expect it to be cost effective to return something
"This is not a review of the quality or price of the product. We ordered two lampshades with a total cost of $75. We didn't like one of them (the larger of the two) once we saw it on the lamp and wanted to return it from the East coast. However, the cost of shipping to return it ranges from $55 to $87 at the lowest rates available from UPS, USPS, or Fed Ex. Obviously they get some serious discounts when they ship, or they couldn't sell for what they do, but they do not pass that on to the consumer if the customer wants to return the product for any reason. They could do that by e-mailing a return lable and charging the customer. I guess they would rather not get a return than get a return customer. If you live near one of their stores in the Western half of the country, then there is no problem returning to the store I believe (except for certain items)."

"VRBO and Homeaway are owned by the same company and share the same customer service telephone system. I am a homeowner with a rental property and it is from this perspective that I write this review. First of all, if you need to contact customer service for anything, plan on a long, long wait on the telephone. It is like entering a black hole. You might need to call because your site needs renewal, or to problem solve their search engine (which does not use Key Words, despite its claim) or a variety of other unexpected reasons. When you do reach someone they are very nice and can be helpful, but should you need higher level support, you need to hope they call you back (usually they don't call back unless you send multiple e-mails, and even then it is questionable. If if they do, hope you are available, because the only way back to them is through the endless waiting on the phone line. They do not provide any direct way to reach the person who called you. They say, "feel free to call us back if your issue is not resolved. They really should be advertising that they guarantee a long wait for customer service no matter when you call, 24 hours per day. I actually switched to VRBO from Homeaway due to their terrible customer service (for two weels before my listing was scheduled to expire I had sent e-mails asking for assistance (they promise 24 hour turnaround - HA!. It was not until after the listing expired that I received a call. Only after I switched to VRBO did I realize that they used the same support phone line. So seller beware if you plan to use VRBO or Homeaway."

"There were problems with the order, in that the online catalog was incorrect and one part of my order did not fit. I needed to go to a supervisor, and then the supervisor's supervisor. After that everything took a little time, but all worked out well and was handled respectfully with good communication to get it all sorted out."

"This is an excellent company to work with. This was the first time I ever bought from them. I had a problem with the shipment which was NOT their fault at all. They were fantastic to deal with and resolved the issue for me quickly with great communication. And yes, the glasses are nice. Cheaper that what I have bought prior on e-bay from another company, and these had spring hinges (better hardware). I did not buy these through e-bay, so their responsiveness had nothing to do with getting good ratings. It was just great customer service."

"I just placed an order with them and expect all will arrive fine. My one complaint is that their website is excruciatingly slow. If this is typical I will have trouble shopping there again. I was charged a surcharge for my delivery area (vermont). I have never had another company add such a charge."
