"My husband put his credit card into the card machine and the associate asked for ID. She took his card and kept typing information from his ID. she said it wouldn’t accept the expiration date on his ID?? I then swiped my Stage Stores card and was asked for ID which is common when the total is over $100.00. She kept typing numbers again and said again that it wouldn’t accept the expiration on my license?? I have never had this problem. She asked if we wanted her to call a manager and we declined at first but she continued having trouble. My husband paid the $224.96 bill in cash and said that we Did want a manager called. This did not happen. We were absolutely humiliated in front of customers waiting in line. He used the cash he had just gotten from the ATM to use for his business travel the next day. In addition, we were extremely uncomfortable with the amount of typing the associate was doing with each of our drivers licenses inn hand. We too are concerned with ID theft."
