With coupons etc. I saved over $103 yesterday and over $43 when I came back today to change my mind and get a sweater. Anna, who works in Elizabeth Arden section, was so helpful both days that I have to say that's a HUGE reason I was impressed with the story -- that and the money I saved. It's also the only sort-of dept. store close by. So I opened an account and I will be a Peebles shopper from now on!"

"The clerk, Ruth, who checked me out was wonderful. She saw me waiting in line and even though in was time for her to quit she went to another register and waited on me. I can not say the same for the one who had started to wait on me. There was a problem with a customer ahead of me who was purchasing a wallet. Her account would not allow her to charge because she has not used it in awhile. She went over to the side and tried calling to get it straight. The clerk took me and was giving me a price check on four items and then said, do you mind if I take her ahead of you now? There was still a problem with this customers card. I was patient and just asked if I could take my items to another register and she just grabbed them up and handed them to me. The other line had a problem too and I just had to smile. One of those days I thought. And her comes this dear Ruth who said I am so sorry. You have been so patient and I am suppose to be off now but I am coming to help you. I was very impressed with her kindness and her apologizing for the long wait and the clerk taking someone else ahead of me."

I observed Brenda treating each customer with such great care that I had no problem waiting in line....I wanted to work with Brenda. Other associates came up to me to offer alternative cashier spots in the store but working with Brenda is worth whatever wait is necessary. Brenda is terrific, thorough, caring about her customers, knowledgeable about her products and departments....she's just great all around.On another note, I previously commented on the dust on the walls in the dressing room and I see that has been cleaned/corrected. I am so impressed that my comments are taken seriously...so impressed."
