"I bought a bag of their coffee at my local grocery store. The next day, after transferring the coffee to my coffee tin, I tried it. I expected it to taste great, having heard that Peet's coffee is very high end. It was awful. It tasted sour. I posted my complaint on their website. Their "fix" was for me to return it to the store (I no longer have the receipt). I entered the "production" code from the bag as they requested, and then threw the bag away. Several days later, they said I should mail the bag and contents back to them. Even if I still had the bag, I am unwilling to spend even more money (pricey coffee) mailing it, along with the unused coffee. Quite awhile ago, I had a problem with a can of tuna. The tuna company sent me coupons for another can. They never told me to put the tuna back into the can and mail it! I live in Seattle, and from now on will purchase local brands of coffee."
"Peet's sells some of the best coffees and teas there are at reasonable prices. It ships out fast and fresh, and their customer service is superior. The few times I had any problems with orders they were fixed quickly and without giving me a bunch of backtalk. Forget that corporate mermaid and her overcooked, bitter brews- Peets is the real deal. I've been a customer for several years, and I wanted to put in a good word here because they are so excellent."
