"I have PetCareRx through my pet insurance, and the prices are largely cheaper than other retailers. I want to clarify I still use PetCareRx but after my recent experiences, I use it with caution. One of my dogs takes Apoquel for chronic allergy issues. It’s cheaper on here than anywhere else. He’s a small dog, so he take half of a 5.4mg pill everyday, meaning I have to order 2 months’ (30 pills) worth at a time, which is in the realm of $65-$70. I ordered it for the first time in September and put an 8-week window on the auto ship. At the beginning of October, I got a notification saying my PetCareRx order had shipped, which would’ve only been 4 weeks, so I looked and it was indeed the Apoquel being ordered again. I called PetCareRx, and they basically said we’ll push the next date out and I’ll just have enough for the next 4 months. They wouldn’t refund it or cancel the order and said there was nothing they could do about it “but at least you’ll have extra.” I don’t think it’ll matter much that my dog has a surplus of allergy pills when I default on my mortgage, Linda, but thanks anyway. Additionally, I recently ordered my cat food, and it took quite a while to get here, so order earlier than you might think you’ll need to. All in all, I’ll keep using, but my expectations have diminished quite significantly."
