Should have checked here before I placed my order... then I wouldn't have been out $341.
Placed an order for a special-order part, "RC Components Billet Belt Pulley-Nitro Polished-72 Tooth"
Would take 6-8 weeks production time.
They charged my card in full right away and then never delivered.
They kept telling me that the manufacturer was backlogged. But when I called the manufacturer RC Components they told me those pullies are ready in about 2 weeks, not 6 to 8... And that they never got an order from Phat Performance for my pulley!
It's now April 2019 and I've given up hope of ever seeing the pulley I paid for.
I've filed an official online complaint with the California AGs office (https://oag.ca.gov/consumers)
One complaint wont do much but if there are multiple similar complaints, the AG's office WILL investigate and eventually shut down the business. And that's what we're aiming for.

"I ordered a $526 exhaust system for my Harley , they immedietly charged my credit card, sent a confirmation email. I emailed 3 times in the 1st week to get status on the order and tried to call both phone numbers and got NO answer or response. After a week there website disappeared from the net and i'm getting fraud charges on my bank card listed as being from UBER. They are using my card # to make UBER purchases !!!!!!!!! Im contacting the FTC & FBI"
"I placed an order on July 29 for a sprocket cover and belt guard set for $110. Showed in stock and would ship in 5-7 days or would be notified of delay. Card was billed, week passed and no communication. By the end of that first week, I get alert notifications from my cc that it was used 4 times(2 from CUSTOM ELECTRIC place $987 & $983, 1 from POS PROS $299 and 1 from a FLY MIRANDA $10). These were not made by me and unauthorized. I'm no detective, but after reading all the reviews about PHATS PARTS, I think someone there is a big a$$ crook! I still have no part and notified my CC about the fraud charges and not receiving my order from PHATS. I called PHATS today to cancel order and guy said part still hasn't arrived to them from manufacturer (haha, same BS line). I told him cancel it. He said we only cancel on Sundays. I said OK, but if I don't have a refund then my CC is going to pursue fraud charges. He said I don't know why you have to do that, but do what you got to do and hung up.
So, there you have it. Deal with these people at your own risk."
"Its been 9 weeks no parts no replies .will not answer my calls. do not do business with this company. They will rip you off. Terry the owner should be in jail for this very unprofessional. "
"I ordered motorcycle chain from them in april 2019 and paid for it. they e-mailed me back after 3 weeks and told me the chain was no longer avail. and what do I want to do, so I canceled the order and requested a refund weeks went by and never received a refund. I called them almost every day and got the runaround. e-mailed them numerous times and still no refund. finally called them again and they said that they were in the middle of a bank change and could not do any refunds and that I would have to go to may bank and ask for a bank to bank refund, really crappy service.
THEY SURE HAD NO PROBLEM TAKING MY MONEY UNTIL THEIR WAS A PROBLEM.

"Don’t bother paying extra for expedited shipping, all theses guys do is have their source drop ship. Customer service doesn’t exist and you can email all you want. They charge your card right away and hope their drop shipper sends but all they are is a middle man. My order came from partsgiant.com weeks after paying for 3 day shipping."

"Good transaction. Ordered KewlMetal tripple tree plate for my VTX. Placed a call to check stock. Call returned in about half hour and verified in stock in hand. Order arrived few days later. No problems. Part fit perfect.

"Don't deal with these people. Nothing but a total scam. Ordered but never received. Almost a month and not even any communication with these clowns. Have now resorted to having My credit card company go after them for a refund. Don't fall for their lies. They probably have not got the product in stock and are on a cash only basis with most suppliers."
"I found Phat performance website while shopping online for handlebars. They offered the best price online with free shipping. their website clearly stated that the item was "IN STOCK" and would ship that day if ordered before 12pm noon pacific standard time. I placed my ordered on March 12, 2019 @ 7:29 am eastern time (4:29 am pacific time). I paid extra for 2nd day air shipping because i needed the parts before the weekend. I received an email confirmation from Phat performance restating the item was in stock and they would send a tracking number. I checked the website later in the day after work, no info, no tracking info. The order status is when i check it is "order received, waiting to ship" and has been in that status for ocer a week now. They do however have a note at the bottom that the order is "in final stages of processing" and they wont let me cancel the order either. I called three times since only to be given the run around by "Terry" that the distribution warehouse would send me tracking info and someone would call or email me...... I have received nothing! no parts, no tracking info, no phone call, no email NOTHING! And they wont let me cancel the order!!! I began to become even more suspicious after i read countless negative reviews online with the same horror stories (something i wish i had read before) . Phat performance takes your money and never ships your product. They will not refund or cancel your order and won't send the product you purchased either. This is Fraud and theft by deception! I want my order cancelled from Phat Performance and my money refunded immediately. If this had been any other online purchase with eBay, or Amazon or even been allowed to use paypal, the consumer would have some recourse and be protected. But not with Phat performance! Phat Performance is allowed to operate in this shady manor with no protection for consumer what so ever. I intentionally ordered from them because of their false advertising of "IN STOCK" and "ships today" promise on their website. save your self the nightmare and buy from a reputable business. Phat Performance is an online SCAM retailer, thieves!!!

"Ordered cheek pads for my Aria helmet 1/14/2019 they withdrew the amount from my bank account the next day, have never received item, called and spoke to John and Eric on several occasions, John always says call after hours and speak to Terry the owner, tried calling but nobody ever answers. sent an email with order number and ask for full refund no response.

"Ordered a windvest windshield on the 21st of Feb. Paid for through PayPal and received a receipt and a order confirmation and order number from Phatperformanceparts. Haven't heard from them since then. Wont answer emails. I've called sales and recording says that phone is no longer in operation. Support number just rings and rings. No one answers. I've tried to check order status in my account and it shows that I don't have any orders. I have a order number but no order. I've got PayPal involved. Hopefully I can somehow get my money back. I don't understand why this guy isn't in jail or why authorities have not shut him down. SCAMMER AND A RIP OFF. DONT BUY FROM THIS SITE. YOU WILL REGRET IT....."
"Keeping this simple:
1) online purchase went well, but the order never closed, even after shipment received.
2) this made it impossible to start at return: but through several emails/calls, i got an RMA and address.
3) waiting now 4 months for a refund (still not received): again after several calls and emails. (called many times and they never pick up the phone)
NOTE: the people i talk with seem nice and helpful, but it never results in action; like a scam.
They have an 'F' rating on BBB.
Bottom line, if you think you might return an item, don't risk buying from them!"
