I was another buyer duped by this company. Wanted to buy a scanner. They had a great price, but then got hit with almost a $400 handling and insurance charge. When I told them to hold my order so I could think about it, they cancelled my order. After calling 5 times and being on hold for over 2 hours total, they redid my order and said it would ship ASAP, for 2 day shipping.
When I called in 4 days to verify, they said the sales rep had not even sent the order to credit to release.
After waiting on hold for another 45 minutes, credit came back to me and said I couldn’t ship to my ship to address, even though it was the same as my bill to. They told me to get another address to ship to and then we can ship. I did that and then they said their insurance company wouldn’t cover the product and recommended that I go buy from another reseller, apologizing for the hassle.
These guys are a small operation, don’t have enough employees to process orders correctly and clearly perform bait and switch tactics.

The next bussiness day I received a phone call froom one saleman asking to add optional accessaries. I refused all but the salesman insisted to add a "must have" shipping insurance. I finally got my D300s less then a week since I've talked to the manager at Photoloon. They charged me the price agreed upon as stated on their website. I got the D300s for 1599.99 and not a penny more. That is a total of 200 bucks savings from any store online. Plus Free shipping and no Tax. It's a great deal, I will definitely do business with Photoloon again.

I got a call from the manager at this retailer, his name is Ken and he promised to resolve my issue. Which was a really big surprise to me. He was very nice and apologetic regarding the issue that I am having with his company. He promised that he will push my order thru and have it shipped in two weeks without any additional charge. He told me we I had experience with their previous salesman was not typical that that he will have a talk with him.
So far so good. So he has changed my mind about the company. So far I consider this gesture as an example of good customer service on their part and will purchase from them again if they do follow thru with my order at the stated price.

This is definitely a bait and switch operation. I order the d300s for 1599.99 on their website. No words from them for a week. No order confirmation and no shipping notice. Then on a sunday I got a call from them and left me an email asking me to call them back. I called, then the guy try to BS me to upgrade the battery. Saying that it will only last 25 mins if I don't upgrade. I have many Nikon DSLR before. The factory battery will last for many thousands of shoots and will sit in the storage for month and still hold a charge. So if some sucker do fall into the trap and choose to "upgrade" from the factory battery, they will probably just ship you the factory battery call that an upgrade, so basically cheat you out your money and never give you an extra battery.
So when I refused the "upgrade", then they said that they will have to charge of 15% for insurance. That equals to $240, which makes that total camera cost of 1840 dollars. I can buy the same camera from Amazon for 1800 free shipping and don't have to deal with these BS.
Don't buy from these people.
