"Ordered new compressor kit with condenser coil, expansion valve and parts for 2011 Versa. Cost less than the compressor alone would locally. Ordered on a Friday, on my doorstep in Indiana on Monday. Everything arrived in good shape (thank goodness it came Fedex instead of UPS) and got installed the next day. Was nice to have the condenser pressurized from the factory, which gave me piece of mind there were no leaks. In the end I replaced everything but a couple hoses that were flushed out and reused (evaporator bought elsewhere). Vacuum checked OK, and after a charge the system is cooling like never before.
Only issue was the rubber bushings on the top mounts of the condenser were larger that original, so I had to swap them out after installing so I could get the frame piece above back in place, so check that on yours. And essentially no warranty since I did the work myself -- one of the reasons I got new over rebuilt. Should be good for years.
All in all a great experience. I'll be back for the next job."
