"My item was shipped on 09/05/2011 and Play-Asia informed it would take 1-3 weeks to arrive.
Three weeks later I sent them a message informing that my product was not delivered, in response Play-Asia says it is a normal delay and they changed the estimate delivery time to 4-6 weeks and that they opened an investigation that would take 3 weeks.
Another 3 weeks later I send them another message informing that the product was not delivered and they answered my message saying that now it would take 8 weeks for it to arrive and although 3weeks have passed they did not provided any information regarding the investigation.
Now 8 weeks have passed and I once again contacted them and once again they are telling me to wait and that they are going to open an investigation.
Making long story short, they keep sending polite messages and increasing your waiting time until you give up from your product.
I'm very disappointed and irritated with this situation.
Take my advice and NEVER buy from this site because if you have any problems with them they won't help and most important they will NOT refund you.

Yes there are many positive reviews about PlayAsia, after all how difficult is it to shift boxes and package games? However you should really measure how a good company is when there are problems and how those problems are resolved, in Play Asia case very badly.
If you place a order (using there standard insured postage method)and it does not arrive , arrives damaged or is incorrect you will never get a refund only store credit and you will have to pay to ship the item back to them at your expense! They will fob you off with nice polite emails saying they are sorry etc basically delay tactics and hope you will go away.

You have been warned buyer beware, if you don't mind the possibility of getting ripped of then by all means go ahead."

"i read all these reviews of play-asia and was very happy that a found a good price i orderded a wii game and a few days later it arrived. i tried playing it but i was not able to. the next day i tried troubleshooting and still it didn't work so i called nintendo only to find out it was the wrong version even though on the site it said it was the european version. so i tried to return it but they said a week had gone by so i coulden't. so finally i sol it on ebay, was very disappointed and would never buy from again!"

"When I ordered a game, after a day it showed up at "Backordered" and I requested a cancellation of my order. The request was fulfilled promptly on the following business day. My only complaint would be was that it was not listed as backordered before I placed my order.

Other than that, I've had good experiences with Play-Asia. Their prices are reasonable and you can get accessories that other companies will not ship abroad."
