"I bought two games for my nephews from this company. The link for one of them does not work. They said the code cannot be retrieved once it was dispensed and yet refused to refund me the money. "

"I placed an order for two games because their website showed both were in stock. Over a week passes before Playasia emails me stating one of the items I ordered is unavailable. This has happened to me before where Playasia lists items as "in stock" only for them to be out of stock. When they email you, customer service does not offer to refund your payment. Instead, customer service will ask if you want the money added as credit to your "play asia wallet" without letting you know a refund is also an option. I find this very shady because customers should be told they can receive a refund to their method of payment if they prefer, not just "store credit."

I emailed customer service back stating that I wanted a refund to my PayPal account (with this preference bolded and underlined) to ensure I would not be given useless store credit. I have no intention of ever purchasing from this company again. Playasia does not have accurate stock lists. More often than not, items showing "in stock" are actually out of stock...and you won't find out for weeks when your entire order is delayed because they can't source the item. Buyer beware."

"Even though the delivery was fast, the quality of the products leaves so much to be desired.

I bought a Korean Drama DVD and the quality is awful! If you think you’ll be watching 1080 HD quality forget it, they’re barely recorded at 480i and show all pixelated on a HDTV. Also, the transition/cut between scenes it’s total garbage. Whoever made these copies used their cellphone and recorded the whole thing them tweaked it to sell. Even the freaking tv announcements show in the middle of the chapters.

Horrible horrible product! This is a lesson learned for myself, I will never buy from shady business again. Not even worth the return since they didn’t even included a retun label. I usually don’t like to write reviews but I thought this was necessary, it’s not like I’m rich yo be throwing away my money buying crap and not say something about it. Don’t recommend buying DVDs products and/or this seller! Buy at your own risk! "

"Well I was trying to buy Yen for Nintendo Eshop card and I literally did everything to make it happen. The first time I bought it with my bank account I got my account locked because it looked fishy. I then decided to get a prepaid card and connect it to my paypal which I did but that didn't work. I then decided to get this card called Green Dot which is practically a bank and actually in order to open an account you have to give your social security number and more, and once opened you have a routing and an actual account number. Well I connected that to my paypal and made a purchase. The payment went through and I thought good I am set. Then last second Play-Asia cancelled it themselves for security issues, then told me to use paypal. I was confused because I USED PAYPAL! I do not know how much more secure I could get. I used paypal which has all my info linked to a debit card that once again has the same info. I emailed them asking no joke if what I am buying is just a Eshop card because I have never met anything that needed that much security in my life for video game reasons. I felt like I was trying to buy something I shouldn't with so much security needed. I will be using another site from now. I appreciate good security as much as the next person but to cancel the order themselves once paypal even gives them the money??? I am confused."

"I pre-ordered two Vita games from Play Asia because, at the time of purchase, Amazon.com didn't have them available for international shipping.

However, a few weeks before the release date, Amazon opened orders for international shipping, and so I reasonably cancelled, especially since Play Asia was charging a decent amount more. I figured there'd be absolutely no issue: everyone has to cancel something at some point in their life, right?

...Right?

I thought that'd be an easy process. However, I was wrong.

126 days later, I've received no refund: just a bunch of empty promise e-mails and screenshots showing that they issued a refund despite my bank -and banking statements- having no evidence of it. At this point, I just want resolution: I don't want to get anything I didn't pay for out of this.

I just want to have this come to an end.

I wish I had seen that this is incredibly common, but I didn't know: the times before when I'd used Play Asia, my orders had been fine. I suppose it's because I never cancelled. Now though... I feel incredibly burned, and know that the money -115 USD- that I lost will most likely be gone forever.

Stay away from Play Asia, everyone: there's so many other sites that you can go to that will treat you much, much better and honor their own policies on returns should the need arise."

"i tend to buy japanese psn cards from play asia but 9 times out of 10 they just keep the money and send you packing without delivering the codes.one time i asked for a refund (which to this day i am still waiting for.this happened in 2017)as to which i got an automated reply asking to wait for the delivery of the code.which never arrived.so i contacted them again demanding a refund to which they started blabbing about paypal this time.i am from europe so i never use paypal at all.after 4 days of hassle i just gave up and let them keep the 25 euro. i am never buying anything from them again."

"Terrible company, and this is coming from an ex-loyal costumer for years, To be fair they used to be good, fast, and efficient, but unfortunately the reality is that their quality in service have been deteriorating the past few years and have now gone to the point of even delaying their shipments on purpose for weeks, not days, or hours, WEEKS.....

This is one of those "how the mighty have fallen" - type story, the worst part is that when i tried to contact them and ask if it was possible for them to make up for their mistake (2 weeks delay which is completely their fault) or in other words take responsibility for it by changing my shipping type to make up for the wasted time, my order has suddenly, perhaps even magically been shipped and cannot be changed but lo and behold when i searched for the tracking number i was given it wasn't even in the shipping company's system.

Now that's fishy to me and it tells me that they haven't even sent my package yet because its not in the shipping company's database yet..... the entire situation and how PA allowed it to degenerate it that is simply disappointing....

while they have a decent selection and different kinds of sales, prepare for terrible costumer service and expects weeks of delay. MINIMUM
