"I ordered over $750.00 worth of supplies from this company. The order included 2 sinks with that appropriate drains. No one could tell me which drains could be used on which sinks and I subsequently received 3 items that had no relevance to either sink. When my plumber arrived to see what was there it was past their "30 day" requirement and I was told I would have to "eat" these parts for over $200.00.
As Aaron said; "We are not plumbers." They just sell plumbing supplies - how profound.
I will never order from them again and suggest you be very careful if you decide to.

"excellent product with low price and quick shipping!"
"Plumber Surplus.com does not live up to my expectations nor their own commitments. I ordered my product on March 2, 2013. My credit card was charged immediately. I never received the product nor any communication about an issue with the order. After several weeks, I checked the online order status and learned that my items was on backorder. They never bothered to actively communicate this to me or to refund the charge to my credit card. As of April 3, 2013, I still have not received the product or a refund of the charge. To add insult to injury, on April 1, I received an email from them asking me to provide an online rating for the product that I had received. I forwarded this email to their customer service address and received an automated reply that I would receive a response within one business day. It is two business days later, and I still have not received a response. I will not order from them again and recommend that you do not either."
"+reasonable prices and shipping"
"good prices, great website, excellent service. I am a residential building contractor in Minnesota who is always looking for a way to save time and $. I find myself using online services more and more."
"Although I had already submitted my order online, the night before, Adam was able to contact the shipping warehouse back east and change the shipping method to overnight express. I really appreciated his energy to make the extra effort. His efforts mean that my family will be showering & bathing about 5 days earlier.
Thanks! Adam"
"I don't usually do much online purchasing, but when I found myself in need of a replacement cartridge for my kitchen faucet that I couldn't locate locally, I stumbled across PlumberSurplus. They had the part I needed at a great price, plus free shipping, so I gave them a try. My order was processed and shipped promptly, arrived in good condition, and was exactly what I needed to fix my faucet.
I've ordered twice more from them since then and have had the same good service each time. I won't hesitate to use them again."
"Like all the other complaints I too am very dissatisfied. I ordered a toilet trip lever. Realizing it was the wrong finish, I cancelled 2.5 hrs later. Same BS. Refused cancellation item shipped. Spoke with customer service, tried to speak to management. "YOUR NOT GETTING PAST ME" All they did was create a shipping label with UPS. 20% restocking fee + their shipping cost + I have to pay to ship it back. "that's what you agreed to when you purchased" 2.5 hrs hours mind you. quoting from their site " At PlumberSurplus.com, we understand that sometimes you need to make changes to your order or just cancel it all together. Unlike other sites, we will not charge you a cancellation fee. As long as your item hasn’t shipped, we won’t charge you to cancel your order.""
"How can you send this for reveiw when I do not have my order yet? Are you for real?"
"The product I ordered is excellent and dealing with Plumber surplus.com proved to be an excellent experience. Their feedback about shipping and confirmation was prompt and courteous. Item ordered:
Helping Hand 01000 Washing Machine Hose Lint Trap (3 Pack)
Product ID 248525

"Everything was fast, accurate, efficient, as you would hope. I was really impressed at how fast I received the item ordered. And the item was exactly as described."
"Go with build.com (plumbingdirect.com, lightingdirect.com, etc). That is unsolicited advice from someone who has worked with both companies. This company is interested in the sale, not the product they are selling."
"I’m sad that I have to jump on the “I wish I had read the reviews before ordering” bandwagon, but I feel that these responses are and should be helpful to those that are considering buying from them. Let me start by saying that I take full responsibility for not reading the return policy, but when explaining to Aaron the reason that I inadvertently let too much time pass, he remained firm, inflexible and weakly apologetic.
In August I purchased a bathroom faucet from them. I ordered two of the Kingston Brass Claremont widespread 8 inch faucets; one from Overstock.com ($148) and one from Plumbersurplus.com ($209); obviously would have ordered both from Overstock but they only had one in stock. They both arrived promptly, in boxes with Kingston Brass printed boldly on them. The Plumbers Surplus one even came with a professional flyer from KB inside with a picture of the faucet I wanted (not the one that was sent). I was currently in treatment for cancer that was diagnosed a few months earlier, so with all that was going on that summer we put off completing our bathroom for a few months, but confident we had all the hardware we needed.
We started working on the bathroom this past weekend (4 ½ months after the faucet came) and discovered the faucet was not what I thought I had ordered. Elements of Design also has a faucet with the same name as the Kingston Brass Claremont, and that is what they sent me. Apparently EOD is a division of Kingston Brass, so why they manufactured two entirely different faucets with the same name is another issue…
When I called and spoke to Aaron, as I said before, he refused to allow me to return it and was unbending in the return policy regardless of my situation, explaining it would have to go on “clearance” because it was “used”. This was in spite of the fact that it HAD NEVER BEEN OUT OF THE BOX, is still available on their website at FULL PRICE and had never been installed. REALLY?? I’m sorry…I’m not buying it (no pun intended). And I also had the same experience as JohnBern and others when I asked to speak to a manager or owner. Not only would Aaron not connect me with anyone, he wouldn’t even provide a name. He encouraged me to write a letter and it would go in the general mailbox (where I’m assuming it would be opened by Aaron and “filed in the circular file”). This is, at best, shady business practices where the customer service people at all costs protect the higher-ups. When I told Aaron I was going to write this review he laughed. I will let you, the reader, draw your own conclusion about that. Based on many of the online reviews, I guess their business is doing so well that they don’t have a desire for return business or word-of-mouth referrals.
There’s unfortunately no happy ending to this story other than Jorge at Kingston Brass was extremely helpful when I contacted them; he said he would exchange the spouts for me at no charge. It was going to take too long as they would have to order it from Taiwan, so I ordered a new one somewhere else. But Jorge’s helpful and accommodating posture spoke volumes to me after my experience with Plumbers Surplus. Lesson learned.

"Nasty Company!!! This is the e-mail I just sent them.
After 2 day they have still not Cancelled the Wrong item and have not credited my account. Saying they have to make sure it has not been sent, the update on MY ACCOUNT clearly says it has not been sent. I will Never order from them again, and do not recommend that you do either.
My Email to them, sent this morning:
I have looked at MY ACCOUNT it Showed yesterday that it Had Not Been Sent
It still shows today that it has not been sent and that the cancellation is pending
So you Know it has Not been sent.
I have notified my credit card company as to what is happening so if after 2 days you do go
ahead and send this we will file the dispute and they have made records to support that.
So it will be a waste of your time and your money to send this knowing it is the wrong item
just to try to collect a 20% restock fee.
I will not be paying that.
The credit card company agree that this is a Nasty trick, first to misrepresent the product by showing the wrong color ( the girl I talked to said you just show the one color for all of that item) so the color you show was not correct.
Then the fact that you were closed when I placed the order - it could Not have been sent then.
and right after I sent the request for the order ( after Hours) I went to the Kohlor website to get more info.
and found there the complete color chart, and saw that the color was WRONG.
So I call early that morning after you opened and let you all know Before anyone could have time to send it that there was a problem. First I ask if you had the correct color and was told that you did not, so I ask that it be CANCELED and my money refunded. I was told I would have an e-mail confirming the cancellation before you closed yesterday. I Did Not Receive that.
and Since that first call it appears you all are doing everything you can to delay so that you can give it time to slip thru the cracks and send it so as to charge me the 20% + shipping both ways to make the cost high enough to try to manipulate me into keeping the Wrong produce.
I will fight you on this every way I can.
The credit card company has assure me that they will stand behind me on this."
"Almost laughable. We ordered a sink, checked the order a couple of days later and found out that it was cancelled(by them, without any notification). E-mailed to find out why the order was canceled, and was told it was due to a price adjustment. Seemed a little strange to us, but we kept looking at sinks on their website (thinking that it was an honest mixup). Something nagged us though, and we decided to check customer reviews. After stumbling upon this website we checked our credit card statement online... the sink we ordered (that was canceled by THEM) had already been charged to our credit card!!! We immediately e-mailed them that we would be taking our business elsewhere, and expect the full amount to be credited as quickly as it was charged. It's almost laughable, the nerve of them(it'll get a lot less funny if we don't get our money back!)! I half expect them to try charging us a restocking fee. Be warned... (as a postscript--the autoreply we just received to our e-mail had a paragraph 'we notice that the e-mail you sent has the word 'cancel' in it' and a bunch of fine print--guess they get that a lot?)"
