"I ordered two faucets along with a few other things from PlumberSurplus.com. They later emailed to inform me the faucets were out of stock and they canceled that part of my order. However, they STILL charged me for the faucets. They then told me they were refunding me the amount. But WHY charge me in the first place?? Now, it is 4 days later and my account still doesn't reflect the refund. When I contacted customer service with my concerns, they were indifferent. I don't think I'll be doing business with them again."
"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY – I ordered a watering-can on Jan 24th. What I’ve received was the wrong color and this after being really specific about the color I wanted (color RED and not PURPLE) > big difference!
Before buying an item online, I always checked customers’ reviews and also feedback on vendors/sellers. On that particular item, I have seen complaints from customers on Amazon.com about receiving the wrong color.
Before proceeding with my online purchase, I contacted Plumber Surplus’ customer service to make sure I’ll be getting the right color. The rep I spoke with said I can’t confirm the exact color because I don’t have any access to our company inventory. He said to add a note when placing my order. I said, I tried but there is no field to add a comment when placing an order on your website. He said to send an email to customer service, which I did twice within minutes after placing the order.
I was also very specific in my emails in regard to S&H fees … If you are sending me the wrong color, please be advised I will not be responsible for any S&H and returning shipping fees.
Following my emails, I received two acknowledgements/confirmations with this comment:

I have added a note to your order about the color you want.

Few days later, I received my shipment. When I opened the box, I was real upset because they sent me the wrong color (Purple color instead of RED). Following this, I got the runaround FOR DAYS from several reps trying to get a PREPAID return shipping label. This was their ERROR and not mines. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge.
Being fed up with the whole thing, I called them on more time to let them know that if I don’t receive the prepaid label as agreed before the end of the day, I’ll discard of the item. I also informed the rep that I’ve already placed a dispute with my credit card company and I will be posting bad reviews on the Internet about the ‘crummy’ service I got so far from their company. Within minutes, I was FINALLY getting an email with the prepaid shipping label. What a waste of time!

When I called back to speak with a manager my request was denied and I was told to use a different company."

"Don't use the seller. They don't stand behind their products. I ordered 2 Kohler items from them, both defective, and they would not refund. One was a flange that had defects appear only after use. They cited their 30 day return policy. It took 2 months of use for the flange finish to start to bubble off and they would't take it back!"
"Ordered three parts for an American Standard water closet and paid $26.00 extra for three day shipping. While placing the order never notified me the two main parts were back ordered. Only found that out two days later to find the back order situation. Went to cancel the order and they cancelled the two BO parts but denied the $2.66 and still charged me $28.00 to ship it."
"I purchased a Little Giant pump (5-MSP} last September. Early in December it failed to operate. I immediately contacted PlumberSurplus.com. who immediately responded and instructed my next course of action--removimg all labels from defective pump and mailing back to Plumber Surplus with their assigned ticket number. I complied, but neglected to include the ticket number but did cite the purchase order number for the pump. This failue to follow instructions proved immaterial as I received a new pump within 6-10 days over the Christmas holidays. I consider the failure of the pump a nonfactor as I've been using the same type pump for over 20 years in my Koy pond. I consider the quick response and resolution by Plumber Surplus commendable! "Very poor customer service. Ordered item 6 days ago and still processing, so I used the chat online customer service option. Rep kept me holding "for one moment" for nearly 20 minutes and then stated could not get an answer on when order would ship. When I told the rep to cancel the order, he/she replied they would have to verify with return team. There's nothing to return because nothing shipped! Concerned about not being credited back on card. Poor service avoid this place!"
"I ordered a faucet from P-S that was listed as a 'Hot-Buy' 82% off. It was confirmed and my AMEDSX card was charged. Order was cancelled. I reorder from a live CS Agent. She CONFIRMED it was available. It was also cancelled. I asked for a supervisor and was promised a callback 3 times (no callback received).
Was subsequenly advised that faucet was not available. Requested a comparable discount on a similar faucet. Was advised that the best they could do was to reduce the shipping on the substitute faucet. I contend that I order a faucet and they accepted the order AND took my money. They are bound to deliver the faucet, or offer me something comparable.
