"Purchased a bunch of products from Plumbersurplus - good prices and good website but some of the products I ordered were the wrong size (my bad). Unfortunately I did not find out until 6 weeks after receiving the products and Plumbersurplus will not accept returns after 4 weeks. They say that on the site but I think it's unreasonable and I will try not to order from them again."

I was looking for a laundry/utility sink, and placed an order for a "Peachtree Forge PF12 Blakely Laundry Sink, 2-Hole, w/Microban, White
Product ID 58760". I called in advance to confirm the stock status of the item. The sales staff confirmed that the item was in stock, and mentioned that it would probably ship that night. I placed an on-line order, received a confirmation email, then a shipping email that same evening. The item arrived in about 5 business days, was double boxed, packed well, and in perfect condition.

My only complaint is the lack of on-line shipment tracking. The system indicated that this was possible (and that it would be provided in the on-line account information). However, every time I checked it indicated that tracking was not yet available.

All in all, I received a good price on a good product. It shipped fast and arrived in good condition! "

"Plumbersurplus.com is a supplier of various home-related and commercial hardware and building supplies, and certainly not limited to plumbing related items, although they do offer a fairly good selection of those as well.

Their web site is well designed, and easily navigable among the various types of hardware (bathroom, kitchen, lighting, etc.). They seem to stock an enormous selection of items. Prices are very competitive. Sales tax is collected for California addresses only.

Unfortunately, they don't accept PayPal for payment, my preferred method of doing business online.

No online inventory status in displayed. I used their realtime chat to determine if the item I wanted (a steel access door) was in stock. The person at the other end was intolerably slow, and it took 20 minutes to get the answer to a single question. However, they provide a phone number for what I suspect is faster service.

Ordering was very easy, shipping fees were very reasonable, and shipment was actually lightning fast (I received my order in two days and paid for ground service only).

I received an email confirmation of my order, but no shipping notification or tracking information, a serious flaw in their otherwise excellent service.

The item I received was well packed, and exactly what I ordered.

In summary, PlumberSurplus.com is a very good resource and, as far as my limited experience with them, reliable and professional."

"My return was not accepted, because the produce was not in resalable condition. They said it had been installed. Not only did I not install the faucet, the packing tape I had used to return the item had not been removed, so they rejected my return without opening the box. I would consider this company to be fraudulent and would advise against others from ordering from this retailer."

"Not only did they initially lose the order, but after they found it when I called, they shipped out a wrong order! When I called, I was told that they cannot and will not help me....just that I should send back the items for a refund.
