"I was a little hesitant ordering from this store based on what I read here, but since Plumber Surplus was one of only three stores that were still carrying some discontinued items I needed and they had the best overall price, I ended up giving them my business. I made two purchases in the last month and all items ordered arrived timely and in factory-fresh condition. The only thing that could have been better was communication, as I have not received tracking numbers for the packages, but that is a minor thing."
"I ordered a vise jaw cap aluminum for one of my bench vise. Plumbersurplus.com delivered the product on time. They have the best price on the web for these vise jaw cap. However, I ordered a 5-1/2" jaw cap, but the the actual cap I received was only 5". On the label was mark as 5-1/2", but the cap itself is 5". I think the shipping department didn't check the product before shipping. Also, the package looks somewhat old and seem like it has been opened. The 5" cap I end up using for a different vise. Overall, I think I would not shop here again since they don't check the product before shipping out."

The shelves arrived quickly, in perfect condition and I got my cashback. Great experience. I was suprised to see such a low rating on this site."
"They took my money for something they didn't have in stock. They never told me they didn't have it in stock or that it was backordered. So I just waited, day after day, and finally cancelled the order. Three days after cancelling my order, I received a refund for something they never should have charged me for in the first place."
"This is a lousy company to do business with. I placed an order 3/22/09. Status after 7 days was "Backordered". Customer Service online chat said it would ship 4/4/09. On 4/9/09 Cust. Ser. changed ship date to 4/13/09. On 4/20/09 I was told it would ship 5/13/09. On 5/20/09 I was told the item is on "backorder". I told them to cancel this order and refund the full amount immediately. That seemed to me to be a fair request since they charged my card IMMEDIATELY when I placed the order. They said They must place my "cancellation request" with the refund department and get approval before I get a full refund. The order status now says "Cancellation Pending". I'll check status again tomorrow and, if there is no change, then I'll put the charge in dispute with my credit card company. On a scale of 0 to 10, I give PLUMBERSURPLUS a ZERO.
5/25/2009 update- I have received a full refund of the purchase price and shipping charge. This does not change my rating of this shakey, flakey business. I still give it a ZERO.

"Bad company to do business with. I ordered some screws and the order showed in process. About 2 weeks later still in process. I called, and after a long, long wait they told me it was on backorder, but it would ship the following Monday. They never told me it was on backorder and it never shipped as promissed.
The part that makes me mad is that they charged my credit card and never told me they didn't have the merchandise.
I placed the order with someone else and it shipped the next day.
They did give me a refund after keeping my money for 2 weeks. I'll never do business with this company nor others like it. Read the reviews and move on to someone dependable."

"This company did not deliver items as promised. 30-days I have been waiting for my item that was suppsee to be shipped in 2-days and all I have gotten is ongoing emails making up excuses and delaying the shipment and them blaming the manufacturer. Bottom line - if they did not have the item in stock, why did they advertise that they did? If you buy a product that needs to be delivered at a certain time, do you care why you never receive it? Do you like when you have to re-order and it costs you multiple emails and more ordering costs with someone else? If so, press your luck with them. If you want a company that actually delivers the product you order, and does not put you through tons of headaches along the way, you may want to look elsewhere. Plumber Surplus is someone I recommend staying far away from."
"This company is dishonest. They ship a different brand (Brizo, not Delta) than they advertise, demand a large restocking fee, and then after issuing an RMA number they refuse delivery, leaving the customer having paid for shipping three times, and still having the non-conforming goods."

"I ordered 2 light bulbs from Plumber's Surplus. What a mistake. The product title clearly says "Candelabra Base". They shipped 2 bulbs with a standard base. I pointed out the fact that they made an error. They disagreed (not sure how) and refunded only 80% of the product price and none of the shipping nor return shipping. This is basically fraud - the product was misadvertised. Will never buy from Plumber's Surplus again. I suggest that you don't either. "

"I ordered a part and received it three weeks later, after I requested the order be cancelled and purchased it elsewhere. I had to RMA the part and was charged a 20% restocking fee as well as having to pay shipping twice. It cost me more to pay for shipping and restocking than it did to purchase the part locally. Think twice before you order from Plumbers Surplus."
"They will charge your CC same time order is placed. They will not ship anything for, in my case 3 days, and once you cancel order it will take additional 3-4 days to process it. Refund some time later."
