"Pool Supply World failed to disclose that the pump I purchased only operated with a filtration system and therefore I needed to return the pump. Had I known the truth about the limitations of the pump, I would not have purchased the pump and they charged me a 15% restocking fee on a $ 386 pump. SHAME ON THEM !"
"I have purchased items from Pool Supply World in the past and besides expensive and slow shipping I eventually got a product. Not this time. If you are out of business just say so. I am going to protest the payment with my credit card company and let them sort it out as I cannot reach customer service or get any response other than they are checking the warehouse. "Ordered a Legend Tune Up Kit. Received confirmation email and my money ($213) was debited from my bank account. Out of the blue I received a Legend Tire, a part of the kit but not the whole kit. Retail price approximately $9. Never got a confirmation email that the order was sent. Called and got a recorded message on every extension. Unable to leave a message. Emailed 3 times - got no response. Tried the Chat - got no response. Customer service is horrible. Will not use again and will not recommend to anyone. One star rating is way too generous."
"We ordered a pool on April 27th, received an order confirmation and they took payment. When we hadn't had any shipping information after three days we reached out for an update and got an automated reply stating they would respond in 72 hours. So May 4th I sat on the computer for 2 1/2 hours waiting to talk to someone on their live chat to be told they had made an error, the pool I had ordered was out of stock and they would return my $1000 in 5-7 business days! So a week after I made the order nobody had contacted us to tell us they didn't even have the item and no I have to wait a further week to get my money back! Its eight business days since I was told I would receive a refund, spent an hour on their online chat waiting to talk to someone to be told they hadn't processed the refund as they had to confirm my item hadn't shipped!!! They cancelled the order so how the heck could it have shipped!!! "

I called yesterday 4/11 to get a status on my order and I was told the item got backordered. I have few concerns on this.
Pool Supply World is a big & reputable company/ Before placing the order i called and confirmed to make sure all is well and i was assured that my order will ship with in 72hrs? After i placed my order I called again & i was advised all is in good with my order. From 4/29 till 5/11 i never received any call or email stating that there is an issue with my order.
When i called yesterday I was told that item was backordered and i have to wait over 2 months to get my pool so basically after summer is over. This is not acceptable and no way of doing business. I have my yard prepped all that is done Ii had to pay vendor over $480 to get it ready for smooth pool installation.
We (consumers) order from Big companies like you to make sure we have a good experience, not like this, this is a major inconvenience and not acceptable.
Why was my order taken if you can not fulfill it and to top it off no commination on delays what so ever. this is very poor handling.
I request that you look at this issue as a very urgent matter and make it right for me, by either giving me what i ordered asap or give me a free upgrade to your next lime of pools that you have available as a complete kit e.g Sharkline Reprieve etc. This is least you can do for your customer. If you cant do that then i request that you plan to give me full refund for the pool and & in addition pay me what I had paid to vendor $480 to get the yard ready since you could not deliver what you committed to. I am not trying to be rude or anything but I am extremely frustrated with this experience."
"The 1 star rating is too high - "Placed order, received order confirmation immediately and that’s it. Since I didn't get a shipment confirmation, I had to call each day to ask when this would ship out - the answer each time was "it takes about 2 days for this happen". After a week of this (and also having them confirm to me that they actually have the pool filters I ordered in stock), I get an email stating that my order is canceled as they do not have these items to ship - and that it will now take a week to issue a refund. So a week of my time has been wasted here for something that they should have known about all along. Need to shop elsewhere for this now, and start the process all over again - and now give my pool another week to get a darker shade of green...
Communication is key - Customers need to be told you do not have this item in stock in the event they are expecting the item when ordered. This was my first and last purchase."

"The Good ... Pool filters ordered were original Aqua-Rite brand.
The Bad ... the strap around the large filter has spots where it is not glued. After a year the strap will eventually unglued. I dont know if they came from Aqua-Rite this way or Pool Supply World sent me a previously returned filter."
"I ordered a new drive track belt for my Shark Aqua Vac. It was easy to purchase, was delivered on time, and I was able to install the new belt easily. The new belt broke after the first use. I've tried contacting Pool Supply World for a replacement belt both by e mail and phone but as of yet I've not been able to get through. If I'm able to get the belt replaced I will edit my review. "
