The president of the company responded to my review and encouraged me to order from them again. I am back almost a year later to say that I am very satisfied with poolcenter.com. I even called to ask about my recent order just to see about customer service and they were more than helpful with order status and even tracked my shipment for me in less than 5 minutes on the phone. "These people don't have it together. I called them four times and emailed twice to tell them they sent fedex the wrong shipping information. I caught this mistake on the first day and they said they would take care of it immediately. They never did a thing and I never received my products. What a hassle for something that could be resolved with a phone call to fedex by them. Enough said. Negative 5 stars."

"Poolcenter does not accept returns, despite what their return policy says. I ordered a part on Thursday and paid for OVERNIGHT shipping. Friday I called to check the status. After sitting on hold for over an hour and a half, I found out that it had not even shipped yet. On top of that, I was told that overnight shipping meant it would arrive on Monday afternoon. I PAID for overnight shipping, but it was taking 4 days to get it delivered. Meanwhile, my pool is not filtering without the part.
When it arrived, the box looked like it was stabbed by a forklift blade. The part was broken and according to the return policy, I had to contact them before returning the item. Well, I've contacted them 3 times and they have not responded. I paid for a part and overnight shipping from Poolcenter. I got a broken part 4 days later and no response from the company when I requested to return it. DON'T SHOP AT POOLCENTER.COM.

"I was having a hard time with an order I had placed with another online website. They seemed to be unable to locate the parts needed to keep my old heater alive. They seemed like easy enough parts to find, but after waiting a month, I called poolcenter and asked if they could get it. They were honest and told me that no stock existed, but they could order it from the manufacturer direct. How long will that take, I asked, fearfully. 7-10 days they said. [here we go again, I thought] I reluctantly agreed, but was pleasently surprised to see my order in 4 days! A nice woman even called me the day it arrived to make sure it was I wanted, and it arrived OK.

Poolcenter has my vote for pool company of the year. Thanks for getting some heat into this pool for me. I will return - as I'm sure it will break again!

"I found pool centers web page extremely helpful in getting the odds and ends I needed to get my pool up for the season. All but two parts were delivered with great speed, and were exactly what I needed at an outstanding price.
The last 2 parts have been a constant headache and have kept my pool closed for the entire summer. I have been promised on two occasions that the items were shipped. I have waited on hold for literally hours, many times not even having the opportunity to talk to anyone. I have not had an email returned to me in over a month. I am a very patient and have only wanted a timeline for shipment, especially since my credit card has been charged for over two months. It's a great place to get your pool product when their system works. When it doesn't, I haven't found another outfit with a more "who cares" attitude.

"We ordered a pool filter from Poolcenter.com. When we received the order it did not come with the pump so we had to return it. It took me 3 weeks to get through to the customer service return department. I left my number for a call back daily and did not receive a phone call back. I left messages on the message machine and did not receive a phone call back. I called everyday and spent up to 4 hours each time on hold. When I finally got through to the returns department the customer service representative was extremely rude. I will never order another item from poolcenter.com. If you return something you have to pay to have it returned and I just paid 100.00 to return the item. Very poor customer service."
