I ordered a digital camera, received confirmation the product I ordered woudl be sent and received a different product. It took me several days to get a return authorization (ridiculous process in my opinion) and when I asked for a refund of the return shipping cost ($10) was refused, even though the cost was incurred as a result of their error. The worst part was, a supervisor there told me he had reported the erroneous website info. 3 weeks before I placed my order yet nothing was done. Do your homework and order elsewhere. They are a HORRIBLE firm to deal with."

I ordered a Samsung 61" DLP television and matching stand. I had to call a number of times to get tracking information. After getting this I found out that the stand was not with the shipment. When the order was placed there was no mention of the stand not being available. When I called back to find out when the stand would be available the rep recommended I swap my stand for a similar stand that costs hundreds more. The original stand was not available and they did not expect to get one. They didn't have the new stand listed on the website so I had to take his word for it. This should have been a sign, but I didn't recognize it at the time.
I did not open the package immediately since I hadn't made room for the setup. When I did open the box I found the stand to be NOTHING LIKE the Samsung stand this unit replaced. The bag of parts had been opened (no pieces missing), there was a small chip in the corner of one of the glass shelves and an 8" scratch across another. PricesRite refused to take it back, stating that I had to complain to UPS who delivered it. Resigned to keeping the stand (the chip is small, the scratch is covered by a stereo receiver and I'm sick of fighting) I put the thing together. The design has a single shelf and a panel that runs the length of the stand across the top. This greatly reduces my options for arranging component pieces. I'm reduced to stacking pieces and working with 3-4" of unavailable headroom which is blocked by the panel. Instead, I've created mini-tables so that I can fit on the single shelf the few pieces I do own. These are a DVD player, HD receiver, stereo receiver and Xbox. Forget about the PS2 and VCR. They won't fit.
The biggest problem I've had is with the surly manager who responded, "Why is that my problem?" to every issue I raised with him. It was like talking to a child as this was all he said to me in response to EVERYTHING I said. Finally he told me that the TV and stand were non-returnable items. (No explanation why, they just aren't.) I asked why he didn't say that first to which his reply was, "Fine, they are non-returnable items. Is that better?"
You may get a good price from them but go into EVERY transaction with the understanding that whatever you get you are stuck with. And in hindsight, price is not that important. I will never fall victim to this group again. Expect no curtesy once your payment clears. I wish I had found this site before placing my order with them. If I had, the order would have never been placed. My suggestion, go elsewhere."

I ordered an onkyo receiver they have the model i ordered in black and silver they are even different prices only a couple bucks difference. i ordered the silver model and the shipped me black well the fact that it took 3 weeks for me to receive it was bad enough but when i call them to tell them that they made a mistake they said we do not have silver receivers we only have black i then asked well then why is it on your website? He said it was for looks only! I then asked why then is the silver one priced different than the black well they didnt know then they realized they did have silver and told me i would have to pay for shipping both ways!! WHAT A SCAM!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!"

They will not be helpful at all even if you follow all the steps to resolve the issue. "This is a horrible company to deal with. They are very dishonest. I ordered a receiver on monday and I called back 4 days later to get the tracking number. I was told it was shipped and I would be given the number within 24 hours. It never happened. This was repeated 5 times into the next week. At this point I wanted to cancel the order. They said it was shipped and I would get the tracking number in 24 hours. After many more phone calls and waiting on hold for hours I finally got them to cancel. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from this company. They operate under various names on the internet like, dealznet.com, lgdsuperstore, hypaudio and more. I ordered from the BHphotovideo.com the next day and they shipped the same day and e-mailed the tracking number. "
"We ordered (order# 14007) a Toshiba Color Television (20A42) from PricesRite.com on December 15, 2002. It was received with a crack in the cabinet. Permission was received to return the set and UPS picked it up in mid January. I was told that my Visa account would be credited within 3-4 business days after it arrived at PricesRite.com.
Despite several email messages and several telephone calls, we have still not received our refund. Amy Brooks, the Customer Service Manager, will no longer return my calls. Other customer service representatives claim they cannot put me through to her superiors."
"GRAY-MARKET, GRAY-MARKET, GRAY-MARKET, GRAY-MARKET, 995NIKON I purchased a digital camera through pricesrite.com and it came to me from lgdsuperstore.com. I was supposed to have a 16Meg compact flash card with it and they sent an 8Meg one. When I called to inquire about it I was put on hold five different times and talked to five different people and I was told that I should have read the "About Us" segment to the pricesrite.com web page where it says that their open box items are shipped "as is". The saleman I talked to when I order my camera specifically stated that it came with a 16Meg card and that I probably should order more memory, to which I replied "No thanks." - expecially at $40 for 32Meg. If one reads the "About us" info the information there indicates that they have costly restocking fees 15%, shipping and handling fees, processing fees (5% for returns and 5% for credit card refunds), etc associated with any return. Two of the people I spoke with were extremely rude. I refuse to believe that they are typical New Yorkers. I will not be doing anymore business with, "Lets Go Digital" or "Pricesrite" These are at least four of the names that they operate under: pricesrite.com, dealznet.com, hypaudio.com, lgdsuperstore.com."
