"I had a very disappointing experience with Primary Arms and cannot recommend them. Within minutes of placing an order, I realized I needed to make a change, but they have a strict policy that doesn’t allow modifications or cancellations once the order is placed. This inflexibility is incredibly frustrating and outdated, especially compared to other companies in the industry.
To make matters worse, their customer service was unhelpful and unaccommodating when I reached out for assistance. It felt like they didn’t care about resolving the issue or prioritizing customer satisfaction. For a company that relies on repeat customers, this lack of flexibility and poor service is a serious red flag. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere."
"I've had a PA brand scope on pre/back order since late July. Since this order has a PA optic in it, the whole order ships for free. The delivery date of this optic has been pushed back over and over (not a problem). Over the months I have added more items to this order, so that these additional items would also ship for free.
When calling in for an issue related to the constant status of "it's only a few more weeks" for the scope, I was informed hat the remaining items could be split off of the scope order if I didn't want to wait for the scope to arrive. I told them no thanks, since I didn't want to pay shipping for those items. This was communicated to me multiple times across multiple calls with both tier 1 (the group that answers the phones) as well as the supervisor level.
Fast forward to yesterday when an email went out from PA stating that any order over $99 would ship for free. Great I thought; I can have the other items on that order split off (totaling more than $99) and have them ship for free, as previously stated to me multiple times.
Nope.
Turns out that not only are they not supposed to offer customers the ability to split ship an order, but also are not supposed to add/remove items from an unshipped order. This was the first time hearing this, after multiple calls stating otherwise. This caused some friction between the support rep and I.
Long story short, my specific situation ended up being resolved, but should never have been an issue to begin with.
Please educate your support reps to not (happily I might add) tell customers that they can add/remove items from an unshipped order at any time, if you're going to get upset about it when the customer decides they want that shipped.
