"My experience with Primotronix was terrible. After repeated unreturned phone calls and emails I finally found out that they failed to ship my camera 3 weeks after I ordered it. The salesman tried to convince me to wait an additional 2 weeks. When he realized that I was determined to cancel the order, he actually hung up on me! I went to them because of the low advertised price. Definitely not worth the trouble."
"Re-visiting review of Primotronix. I ordered a camera lens and a lens hood. Before sending me the order Primotronix contacted me and asked if I would fill out a customer review. I told him I would but since I had not received my products yet I did not know how good of a review I could furnish. He told me that a simple review of service and price would be good enough.
I filled in the review from this website as follows;"Good customer service and pricings".
The Primotronix rep then told me the lens hood would be removed from my order and sent free of charge as a thanks from the company.
The original camera lens arrived but no lens hood. I called and the lens hood was sent out immediately.
The wrong lens hood was sent. Was supposed to be a 52mm lens hood but they sent a 58 lens hood. Original order did show the 52mm lens hood as what was ordered.
I called but the office was closed, really short hours of operation.
I replied to the email from "****@****" 6 days ago asking for assistance for the free lens hood which was the wrong hood they sent but have not heard from them.
So far I was correct when I first stated to the company rep that I did not have enough information for a company review. I should not have provided a company review at their request.
1. So far the Primotronix service of providing the order as ordered is poor.
2. The service to their "****@****" email is poor.
3. The hours of operation for customer contact is poor.
4. I probably will not intentionally do business with them anymore.

That made me feel much better about my purchase, and I'm excited to have it arrive! "Don't get sucked in by their cheap prices. Ordered a Cannon 5D mk2 with a 17-40mm lens. The scam starts when they call you back about your order. Told me I had ordered the wrong filters, battery, memory card and we proceeded to changed my order. Mistakingly thinking they were going to use the online prices, wrong. Cost me another $800, the customer service guy keep telling me what a great deal I got on the camera body and that I should appreciate that. The invoice is not itemized in my case it just read $3280.00"

Feel I should add that I did experience some trepidation and frustration after spending some time on the phone trying to get my order confirmed.After that was finally accomplished Sunday, smooth sailing. Shortly after getting off the phone with ext.509(David I think)I received an e-mail confirming my order had been charged and sent to the warehouse to be shipped within 48 hours. Tuesday I received another e-mail saying my order had been shipped and had reached it's first check point.Later that day an e-mail with a Fed-X tracking number was sent and informed me the shipment would be delivered Wednesday.Soon afterward Fed-X called to verify that an order requiring a signature would be delivered Wednesday.Well today is Wednesday and only three days after confirming my order with the customer rep. at Primotronix I have my Canon 18-135mm lens and an added free UV filter. I'm a happy customer. And it was the cheapest price around!!
