"Well, I had an interesting time with Primotrinix. I ordered the Nikon Coolpix S9100. Got it for a great price. They sent it off right away. Unfortunately, it was stolen en-route to me. I called Primotronix when I didn't receive my camera. They replaced it with the newest version (Nikon Coolpix S9300)for no additional charge and they were very friendly and helpful. I just got my beautiful camera and can't wait to get out there and use it. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future!"

"Never has the phrase "buyer beware" been more appropriate that it is with these people. Being hooked by their price, I called before ordering to make sure the camera I wanted was in stock; I was assured that it was, and that it would be to me in 10-14 days, so I ordered it. Two days later I received a message that I needed to call to confirm my address in order to insure a quick delivery. I thought this strange, but I called anyway only to find it nothing but a ruse to attempt an upsell: I didn't bite. The next day I recieved an email that my card was being charged and the order was being forwarded to the warehouse for shipment within 24-48 hours.
When a week had passed without another word, I began trying to reach them by phone. Over a two day period, I phoned 13 times!On the first 12 of these I was either put on hold or simply hung up on. Twice I actually held on just to see how long it would be: I finally hung up after 10 and 15 minutes respectively.On the 13th try I got a person who reluctantly looked up my order, and he said - and I kid you not, "It should maybe ship sometime next week..."
I immediately emailed them to cancel the order, and of course that email was ignored as were all my previous attempts to contact these people. I then went to VISA to file a dispute and all became clear. These people are nothing more than telemarketers, or perhaps I should say that is the business category that VISA shows them as; I don't believe they stock the first thing.
In short I have never delt with a less reputable, more dishonest company ever, and the only reason I gave the 1 star was because I couldn't give them anything less. Soooo, as I said before, buyer beware!!
9/19/13 UPDATE: In the interest of fairness I am compelled to offer this update. I thought I had put this unfortunate experience behind me when I received a phone call from an individual with the company who introduced himself as the office manager. I have to tell you that if I had dealt with this individual from the beginning, I don't believe I would have had the difficulty that I did. His concern seemed genuine, and he never attempted to defend the actions of the individual with whom I did work. There are enough positive reviews on line about this company that it makes me think the issues I had were more the exception than the norm. If their prices continue to be agressive, I will revisit this site for future needs. "
"This is the worse place to buy anything from...Please please do not do not buy anything from this company. They sale you items for a much lower price and thats because they are used or not from the actual maker. I bought a Nikon 5200 and after many many weeks of fighting to get the camera they finally mailed it. I called Nikon to confirm it was a new camera and they said it was a camera from " the grey market " the lense did not even have a product number. I reyurned the item and its been over a month and no refund. I have tried calling them many many times and after 20 min on hold they hang up or give me some lame excuse that their system is down. I am very very upset because i safed years to buy a dslr camera just to be ripped off by this company. Do not buy from this place"
"I must say that I ordered the 7d camera from the site and talking to Mickey without doing a lot of due diligence on Primotronix. He was knowledgeable and I felt comfortable with his handling of the sale. The email confirmation had very limited information or breakdown of order and it gave me a uneasy feeling so I started doing a little research on the company. Wow have they generated a lot of bad reviews in the past and I became very concerned. Luckily I bought through Capital One card and they said if it doesn't come through, I am covered. The jewish holiday Rash Hashana fell two days afer I ordered and they were closed giving me more concern. I called and talked to them and they assured me that I would get me camera. The following day (one week from order but only a few business days with holiday and weekend)I had a fedex tracking number and the camera, battery, flash card I ordered arrived in good order - Exactly as I had ordered. Bottom line, my experience was probably a little unorthodox and probably hightened by my paranoia from the other review. However, the price was great, the camera came as promised and I really can't complain. Thank You."
