The product pictured isn't what you will receive

"I bought a replacement motor off them for a dryer. The motor I received was not the one that was shown on the website. It was the incorrect color, physical size and had an external capacitor installed on it. They refused to take it back. Their explanation was that the original part is no longer made so they shipped out a motor that had similar specifications but is nothing like the motor pictured. Their website still shows the incorrect part. The generic part received could have been purchased for cheaper on other websites."

"Was totally fast getting here perfectly boxed everything was told a lie exactly what they said but it was early awesome experience prices were good nothing wrong whatsoever there's always haters out there so nobody's perfect but I can see nothing wrong with this company"

"I only received part of my order, got an email stating that the rest in on back order and will be shipped on a later date.
After no contact from PPS 20 days after the promised ship date, I called to find out that my ordered product was no longer carried and that I had to request my money back.

The proper thing for this company to do is to tell me truth and automatically return my money when they know I'm not going to get my product. Not wait and see if I forget so they can keep my money.

"I ordered several parts listed as OEM from the pro supply website. When I received them they were knock-offs. I contacted them to try to get them to send what was listed on their website. They would not send the OEM parts. They charged me shipping and handling of $55.00 for parts that probably cost 1/3 of that to send. They refused to return part of the shipping for the parts they tried to pass as OEM and would only refund the parts cost"

"Ordered thermal cut-off kit for my dryer on a Monday. Order was processed on Tuesday. UPS tracking number given on Tuesday with arrival date the following Tuesday. For $14.72 shipping and handling charges this is ridiculous and is not "fast shipping" as advertised on the website. When I called the customer service to ask why it took so long to arrive the response was "It's coming from Portland". If you need something quick, this is not the place to shop."

"Needed a control board for my Bosch washing machine. Price at Pro Supply was almost half the cost from leading parts supply companies. Called customer service to confirm in stock and discussed the processing/shipping timeline...individual I spoke with assured me the part would ship (not process) in 1-2 days...with my wife very concerned about getting the machine up and running I added 2 day shipping...got here 8 days later and I ordered early in the AM on the first day. Contacted customer service in between and they said it can take 3 days just to process...not to ship...first person just outright lied to me...never shop with them again no matter the price."

"Got a part at an amazing price, was expecting the worst but absolutely had no problem receiving it.

I was afraid to buy from them because of their terrible reviews, but then decided to take a chance and couldn't be happier. I placed an order on 12/28/2012, got shipped with tracking number and all on 1/2/2013. I would buy from them again and hope people will have similar good experiences like i have had.

"It's partially my fault for not looking deeply into their complicated return policy but after ordering and receiving the wrong part, I attempted to return it only to find out that it was not returnable. Shame on me for not reading the poor reviews by other customers and not reviewing the return policy. However, what displeased me most was that it took multiple attempts to finally contact them (email and phone). "

"Horrible customer service!!!! I ordered a Honeywell furnace postfilter 16x25. What came was half 16x12.5???? I called to inform Pro Supply Company that they had made a mistake and sent only one of the two pieces of the filter that I ordered. She said she would check on it and call me back; the voicemail she left for me said that the filter pieces are sold separately. So I called back and talked to the owner, and tried to explain why I believed that I was purchasing a complete filter and not just half of one--(the hole for this furnace filter is 16”x25”, what came was 16”x12.5”). I tried to explain that he basically sent me half a filter. He disagreed and said the ad was CLEAR that it was for one piece…basically half of a filter. Now if the ad read ---This 16x25 filter requires a quantity of two as each piece is 16x12.5--- then it would be CLEAR, however, what the ad actually said is ---“Post Filter For 16X25“--- leading me to believe that I was purchasing the entire 16x25 filter. As I tried to explain again, differently, that I believed he was wrong he got angry and hung up. Luckily I used paypal and filed a dispute, and they got me my money back. Now searching to buy them elsewhere they are only sold in 2-packs everywhere else. So I checked Prosupply to see if they fixed there webpage discription and they have not. They are the only place that even sells them as singles?? Duh who would purposefully buy half of a filter?? They just don't get it???"

"I found this online store via Google's Shopping tab on their search engine which lets you enter a product & compare businesses that sell the item. They had a good price & based on most of the reviews I read, they seemed to be a legit company to do business with.

The only good thing I can say is they have good prices & it was easy to get a human on the phone to confirm they had the item in stock. Now, I'm not sure if they actually do have it in stock since it's taking a while for them to ship it.

I need a heating element for my dryer & I saw some people saying they got their orders fast. I placed my order on a Monday morning & it took them at least 36 hours just to "process" the order. The lady in sales I spoke with when I called to check that they had the item in stock told me that the item would ship by the end of the following day. With this in mind I decided to more than double the shipping from standard to 2 day so I could definitely have it before the weekend. So, after all business day Monday & Tuesday, I get an email notification that tells me my order was "processed" which then told me that the item will take another 1-3 days to ship. On their site, it says they "will generally ship products in stock within 1 to 3 business days from date of order." They didn't mention the extra 2 business days just to process the order!

I'm pretty sure this thing is already boxed & they could simply hit "print" on a shipping label and put it on the dock where their UPS/USPS guys pick up & it would be done. I do most of my shopping online & almost everything I buy ships the same day (when I order early in the day) or the next day.

I called back & told them if my order doesn't ship today, cancel it. I'll pay more & find another vendor that can ship in a timely manner. I can't believe they don't expedite orders that pay for the higher tier shipping!

**edit** After calling them, I got a shipping notification one hour & 36 minutes later notifying that the item is shipping. So, if you need it fast, order the item then follow up with a call telling them to cancel the order if they do not ship it in a timely manner, that seems to work. I'm glad they resolved the issue rather than me having to cancel my order & find someone that would actually ship them item in a timely manner.

"Positive experience. Ordered a 205001 timer for a Maytag A308 washer online on a Monday, UPS tracking info was received the following Friday, and it arrived the next Wednesday. The box says "FSP Made In USA" and the timer works great."

"Great Price... I purchased an item that was not in stock on 7/26/2011. I canceled the order Yesterday 9/15/2011 after confirming that the item had not yet left the manufacturer. I know they can not control how long it takes a manufacturer to supply a seller with merchandise, but they can be honest and forthright with the consumer when he/she calls for a status update. I was told a month ago that the item was shipping from the manufacturer in a couple of days, I requested that it be drop shipped to my residence and was told that would not be a problem. The next time I called, about a week later, I was told that the item was stuck at US Customs in a truck coming from Canada and that it should arrive the following week at my residence (so much for drop shipping). When that did not happen I called back and was told they would get to the bottom of it and call me back that day. I never received that call back. There was a woman who on more than one occasion who was unprofessional in answering the phone. On the upside since my item had not yet shipped from the manufacturer they gave me a full refund. If I had not been lead to believe the my product would be arriving shortly I would have canceled the order a month ago. "

"Dear Pro-Supply & Universal Appliance Parts,
Just wanted to say how great the service was that I recieved from your company. From the great Customer Service Team that really knows thier stuff, to the Shipping Dept. that kept my order straight and out the door to me! I'm just a 'Jack of All Trades' handyman that came upon this company through a search engine while comparing prices, (which were the best. Hands Down!) But they showed me that Quality, Knowledge and Customer Service can still be found right here in the U.S.A.
I might not spent thousands of dollars but they will be getting my business!

"I ordered drip pans for a Maytag range, using a part number that Maytag gave me. I ordered from Pro Supply Co. because their price was clearly to lowest. When the part arrived, it was the exact part number I ordered, but didn't fit at all. I called Maytag and explained that the part they told me to order didn't fit. Maytag told me that's the closest they make to fit, but actually there are no drip pans available for my model. When I explained this to Pro Supply Co., they cheerfully authorized the return of the very parts I ordered and refunded my money, even though they did nothing wrong. I give Pro Supply a 5, Maytag parts dept., a 1."
