"Well Puget System's has done it again! With one ten minute to Puget tech. support, Josh Raye, solved my problem. He listened to my plea of desperation as my PC quit running, as in powered itself off after 5 minutes. He calmly asked me to boot into the BIOS screen and checked the CPU temperature. Yep - 70C - too high for idle state - so he diagnosed a liquid cooling system pump failure. It appeared that he was exactly right! I ordered a replacement Corsair H60 cooling system to be delivered the morning of the next day and by noon I had installed the new cooling system. My PC was running again! I could now get back to my work. I spoke to Josh again asking him which way to install the cooler's fan (intake or exhaust) and he took the time to look it up just to be sure. Now that's Service with a capital S.
This is my fourth custom PC from Puget Systems. I've had this one for three years and still get EXCELLENT support service. Try that with Dell or Sony or an internet brand-X!
I strongly recommend getting your computer from Puget Systems. You work with a tech to custom design your machine to suit your specific needs, not over the internet compromises, but detailed choices - like what manufacturer's RAM memory do you want? Which video card? Then they do a "burn-in" test before shipping, so you're not the one who discovers a infant mortality component. They're not the cheapest, but the best I've found.

"I am so happy I was able to find Puget Computers to build my dream PC. As an avid gamer who doesn't know the nitty gritty details on computer hardware and which parts should I need to get the performance that I want, it is a very hard decision to make the big purchase. After a couple of questions and changes with the computer setup, I finally made the purchase. I was given an invoice and a link to track the status of my computer. They even sent pictures and the tests they did on my computer, such as thermal images during idle and peak performance. I can vouch for their packaging and shipping safety too. I was surprised when I saw the FedEx guy pull out a huge box from their truck. All in all, I am very, very happy with my purchase from Puget Systems, their customer care is outstanding and enjoying my new gaming desktop for a month now. Because of this, you can't often get a handle on the longevity of a product. That's why I waited almost three years to write this review. "After a year of back issues keeping me from working, I finally got back to where I could. I knew I had to replace my old work computer as it had worked hard for 5 years. I researched many companies that custom build computers. I was liking what I was reading about Puget Systems from others in the photography industry. With not wanting to go Apple, and with what others were saying, I started to look into them more. On 1/30/15 I submitted a custom build for a review by them, to be sure that all parts would work properly together. On 2/02/15 I received the review with suggested changes, which was the size of the Drive from a 500 MB to a 1TB, and using a dual DVI video card. I reviewed the parts suggested, as well as sorted the finances, and placed the order on 2/06 at the end of the business day.
From there I looked in on their website to follow the status update to “feel” like I was a part of the process being able to talk with the technicians. This was something the builders of my last system did not have, and I fell in love with the ability to know what was going on with the build.
On Friday 2/13/15 the system was in the shippers hands, to deliver to me via 2 day ground. It arrived on Monday 2/16/15, and I've been putting it through its paces since. Today, 2/23/15 I received a phone call from Bertt Nordquist of Puget Systems to make sure everything was good with the computer. We discussed the system, and that the only thing I need is a card reader. He told me that they've been testing them, they have one that they are ok with for their systems but honestly they are trying to find a better one that’s not super expensive. Which is what kept me from including it in the build really, is the cost of the internal ones and their quality not as good as the parts that are in my system. To me it would have been like putting a Honda radio into a Rolls Royce.
The company that built my last system builds great gaming computers, but I’d rather have one that’s great for work first, and could play a game if I wanted. That’s the main thing that made me search, and find Puget Systems. Puget makes great gaming computers, but they also make great business computers designed for what your needs are. I very rarely will rate more than 4 stars for a company, but for Puget Systems I’ll give them over all 5 stars for overall because the act more as you the customer matter. They have also impressed a friend of mine who works in the IT department of a major name computer company. And when he came by, this past weekend he was drooling over the benchmark numbers, and the looks, as well as how well this system works.
