"The mechanic was polite and told me what was wrong. The wrong break pads were given called me to tell me he would be back. He had an issue with the electronic brake not disengaging, so he could change the back brake pads due to the intoxalock. I explained what was happening, so now I have to take it to where I had the intoxalock installed and see if they can fix the computer problem and replace the back pads with a potential discount.

Addendum:
I am changing my review after visiting the Shop that installed the intoxalock. They explained that this should not be why the Electronic Break was not entering service mode. They explained that sometimes the computers that mechanics use do not always communicate with the computer; this is more than likely what happened. I also had to pay for a break inspection to diagnose the problem, costing me another $145.00 on top of the seven hundred I just paid to have the front breaks and rotors fixed. The mechanic also showed me that there was a way for them to release the caliper and access the brake pads without damaging the rotors. However, they had my car on a lift, and this mechanic could not lift the car in the air. The other issue that makes me even more upset is that the mechanic with RepairSmith kinked the break line on the car's passenger side when he was installing the new rotors and brake pads. So no fluid was getting to that break. So the Mechanic at Smog Mart had to unkink the brake line; they also inspected the driver-side front brakes and found that they were not completely tightened to industry standards.

I hired RepairSmith because it was convenient, and I worked two jobs. I do not have much time to go to a shop and wait around. I stand by my first statement the mechanic with RepairSmith was friendly. However, the quality of the work was not what I would have expected. When I reached out to RepairSmith, I was told there was nothing that they could do to resolve the situation. I would expect at least a partial refund or a refund of the $145 it cost me to fix the kinked brake line. Instead, I was told they could not help me but would fix the problem. A situation like this with fluid not getting to the front passenger side, would be a major issue, with the Driver side not being tightened to industry standards. I plan on writing both a Yelp and Google review if that does not work I also plan on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. "
