"I ordered a mask from them. I used their sizing guide. I was surprised when it showed that I needed a large. I checked and rechecked the guide. I ordered the large even though I have never worn a large mask. When it came, it looked big. I measured it, and it seemed to correspond to the distance between the bridge of my nose and my chin. So I opened it and tried it on. It was huge! No amount of adjusting could have made it fit. I called the Respshop and asked if I could return it FOR A REFUND even though I had opened it. They told me that I could, and that my money would be refunded within 5 days of the receipt of the returned mask.
Someone from the Respshop called me asking questions about what kind of mask I wanted, a nasal or a full-face. I told them that I use both, but that I was not interested in any equipment from them since their sizing guide was so off. The woman continued to press me for answers to her questions. I told her I needed to take another call (which was true.) But I really wasn't interested in speaking further with her since she was being intrusive with her demands for answers.
Then I found out that they had given me a STORE CREDIT rather than a refund, as I was assured. I emailed them about this. They did not address my question as to why they gave me this useless store credit when I was assured a refund. The person who answered my email wrote that they had tried to call me and I was not interested in speaking with them. They conjectured that I had actually wanted a nasal mask instead of the full-face mask I ordered. I guess this was an attempt to explain why the mask was so large.
I wrote them back asking why they had not answered my inquiry about the store credit. I told them that I had used a CPAP for decades. I assured them that I knew the difference between a nasal mask and a full-face mask. I asked them to please not insult my intelligence further and answer my query about the missing refund. They did not answer my question, and I have still not been given a refund."
