"One of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with. I have just filed a complaint with the BBB regarding my experience. I placed an order on 4/13/08 which was charged to my credit card on 4/21/08. It is now 5/27/08 and I have yet to receive my order. Also, contacting the company by e-mail yields no results and the phone number just tells you they are dealing with other customers and then hangs up. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!"

"Similar experience as the others - purchased an "In Stock Ready To Ship" item that never shipped. Three weeks in, I received a response to my order status inquiry which stated they were having trouble with their "outside warehouse". After 5 weeks of waiting on my much needed brake pads, I canceled the order and requested a refund. Almost 2 more weeks have gone by now and I have yet to get a response or receive a refund. Incidentally, I ground the rear rotor near useless while waiting on the pads. My first order with this company will be my last. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH RIDEGEAR.COM AGAIN!"
"This place is simply stealing. I ordered a luggage rack that didn't fit. I returned it (which took about 3 weeks of trying to get through their customer service) and never got a refund. After weeks of trying to get through to customer service again I was told I could either have my credit card company "charge back" the item or get a store credit. After telling them I couldn't get a charge back, whatever that is, on an item that I received I asked from my money back. I was told someone would call me back. That never happened. I complained to the Santa Cruz BBB. After awhile I was told Ridegear was going to send me a check. 4 weeks later no check. They are running a criminal enterprise at Ridegear."
"I ordered twice from these guys. First time the item was out of stock and they didnt even tell me. The second time i ordered 4 spark plugs, i mean how hard is it to ship four spark plugs. I could hand carry it across state lines. Anyway, they took 2 weeks no email responses and when i called them to cancel it the girl on the phone said sorry and then hungup on me. I will never shop there again. All I will do from now on is use there site for detailed pictures and price matching. no thanks RIDEGEAR!"
"They are horrible. They didn't ship half the items I ordered but yet charged me the full amount. It is impossible to reach them via e-mail or phone. When I finally did get a person to talk to after wasting a whole day waiting on the phone, he promised that they'll refund me the money but 2 weeks passed and nothing!"
"This is bordering on being a full blown scam operation. I placed an order for an item listed as "in stock". Never shipped, never acknowledged, but my bank card was debited the day I placed the order. Four weeks later I am still waiting.I have initiated an investigation through my bank. "Horrible place to do business. No follow through . Items never shipped. Placed an order for an "in stock" item. After 5 days with no notification, I called to check. After waiting on hold for 18 minutes and being disconnected 4 times, they said orders take time????? It has been 3 weeks now and 2 of the items were Christmas item that I need to ship. Finally I am putting this in dispute with CC. Save yourself some hassles - buy elsewhere!"
"This company is a joke. I got hung up by the guy when I said I wanted a refund. I got the same story that the items were on backorder and they were supposed to ship this week, blah, blah, blah!
Don't do it! Save the hassle. After one week of them telling me they were going to refund my paypal account...they still did not. I had to call again (don't even attempt e-mailing). I got lucky and got a manager on the phone. The paypal account was refunded immediately. "

It was of course total BS, I cannot get ahold of anyone at Ridegear, they say to call at normal business hours....I called today at 1 pm and there was no answer. It has now been well over 2 weeks, and I am getting more angry by the day. I think I will spend it giving them horrible reviews."
