"I purchased Brooks Glycerin 14 for a race because my old pair went missing. When the shoes arrived, they weren’t in the original box and I discovered the left shoe was literally smaller than the right. When I called customer service, she tried to argue with me telling me it was my foot that was bigger. When I ask for an expedited solution to the defective shoes, she wasn’t willing to do anything. I sent the shoes back and ask that I not be charged the $10 return shipping fee. She snarkly said she couldn’t promise that. Never have I had such a poor customer service experience and NEVER will I buy running shoes at Kelly’s Running Warehouse. I ordered another pair from Amazon and was off to my race."

"They not only ask for photocopy of your credit card security number (which is against all PCI regulations), they then don't refund the full amount when you complain. Potential for fraud is huge."
"I'm Australian and my next door neighbour's son does shot put and discus. I'm in America on holidays for a few days, and she wanted to order some specialty shoes to be delivered to my hotel, so I could bring them home. They made first her, then me, jump through endless hoops, including wanting me to:
1. Scan and send them both sides of my drivers license
2. Print, fill out, sign, scan, and send them a stupid form saying that I authorised them to charge PayPal, who had already paid them from my account
3. Change my PayPal address to the hotel I'm staying in, potentially fouling up regular payments I make for software and website subscriptions and such from that account. And, frankly, it's inappropriate for a retailer to be asking me to alter my account with a financial institution to suit them.
Again, I'm in a hotel. I could, theoretically, print the form, but there are no scanners here. They told me I could just photograph the documents and email them from my phone, but when I told them my phone is only set up with my Gmail account - not the email I used for the order - they told me I couldn't do that. The emails would have to match.
All of this is for an order totalling LESS THAN $40!!!
They were putting my neighbours through the same thing, when I volunteered to handle it, as I could use PayPal - which is supposed to be global, and is for every other retailer besides Running Warehouse. More fool me.
Seriously, I travel to America regularly, and always do a ton of orders from Amazon and many other retailers, small and large. I've purchased laptops and other computer equipment worth thousands of dollars, using both PayPal and a couple of AU credit cards, and I've NEVER, EVER had to do something like Runners Warehouse is asking.
They are incredibly unhelpful, and have clearly decided that red tape and a patronising attitude is good for business."
"Have been a customer for over 2 years now. My orders are alway shipped out very quickly and their prices are great. I've only had a problem with a few of my orders (didn't like the item, shoe didn't fit etc) and never had any problem getting a refund or exchange. Their customer service is top notch and if you ever need to call them they're very nice and helpful. I don't remember the last time I went to a shoe store to buy my running shoes and don't see that changing any time soon."
"My order was with "Kelly's Running Warehouse". This seems to be a name change. I ordered an "in-stock" Asics Kayano shoe. Two weeks later I asked where they were by email. I got no response. I called and was told that the shoe was on backorder (and that every other Kayano model was also being held up as backorder). I got an indication that they might get the shoe in 2 more weeks. We shall see. I need to wonder the size of this "Warehouse"."
"The order process was reasonably easy and reasonably priced. Shipping was supposed to happen within two days. However, I was later notified that the order was on hold. I had to provide a written authorization for the credit card transaction, a photo ID and an actual image of the credit card (both sides). I did so. The photo ID was not acceptable to their in-house bureaucrat, even though it is a government-issued driver's licence (one of the options provided). The credit card images were not acceptable because they "appeared to be scanned". Right. They were. I provided photographs of the card, which were then accepted. However, I eventually had to email my passport through an insecure email link. This is the most arrogant treatment I've ever had to endure from an online merchant anywhere in the world, and that for a transaction under $200! Stay away if you have better things to do with your time."
"I found Running Warehouse through google 6 months ago and by now it has become my one stop shop for buying sneakers.
The prices are great, the customer service is fantastic with no hassle returns (I've had quite a few returns amid many purchases, mostly swapping for different shoes) and very prompt shipping. They are very easy to deal with and in the past few months this shoe shop has become my favorite place to shop for athletic shoes and I've made quite a few purchases in the past 6 months.
Overall, this is a 5 star experience all around if you are buying athletic shoes. They have great selection complemented with a fantastic buying experience and returns policy and as long as they keep up their level of service, this will be my first stop for any sneaker purchase.
I highly recommend them in all aspects. 5 stars overall."
