"I ordered a condenser microphone from SJ Media on the tenth of January. From the google shopping page right up to the transaction there was no mention of shipping charge (in fact google shopping page said it was free) but I was charged $10 shipping anyway. My item was supposed to ship out in 7-14 days according to the order information. It is now 15 business days later (30th of Jan.) and the order information is saying will ship out in 4-7 days!!!! I can't even call them to get information about my order and even the number I got from the BBB's page about them doesn't work. It rings a few times, makes horrible noises at you, then gives you the busy signal. My advice, steer way clear of these guys. I am putting in my report to the BBB to get my issue resolved!"
"I am having serious problems with this company. I ordered some 1/4 inch guitar cable with some plugs and I got the wrong cable, so sent it back and they're supposed to be refunding my money on that, but I haven't heard a thing from them for a while now. This transaction started in Nov. of last year. It's now Jan. 12th and I'm still trying to get my refund and some right angle plugs I ordered way back in Nov!!! I think I'm going to have to call Visa and dispute the charges to get my money back. At this point, I don't even care if they send the plugs. I just want my money back!!! This has to be one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I sure wish they had a phone number listed! All they have is their fax number and address on the contact/about page. GRRRRRR!!!! "We ordered an item from them and it was incorrect. We shipped the item back to them over 60 days ago and have called and emailed dozens of times with no reponse. Order was over $700 we are now trying to take it up with the CC Company, Good luck if you ever try to return something to this worthless company "
"BEWARE!!! They say they have product in stock but do not and they bill your credit card at the time of order not when they ship so they have your money. They make it impossible to contact them by phone and they only answer your e-mails if you repeatedly send them. They offered me a 5% discount on the order to keep it open, but finally after the order was not delivered or enven shipped after 2 weeks I told them to cancel and asked for a refund, and they did not refund my money. I notified them numerous times to cancel my order and they acknowlege that they sent the cancelation to the warehouse but confirmation would have to come from them. 5 weeks later they shipped the order I no longer needed.
Negatives:
1. They lied about the in-stock availability of the parts.
2. They promised to have them to me by a date that they had no way of guaranteeing.
3. They do not provide a customer service phone number on their web site.
4. They charged my credit card when the order was placed, not when it was shipped
5. The order phone number worked for customer service, but they couldn't give me any real-time info about the order.
6. The Order Status link which they sent in the confirmation email did not give any status information.
7. They did not refunded my money when I cancelled the order.
