Don't fall for pre-sales pressure

"I heard good things about these gowns and even though the cost was ASTRONOMICAL we still decided to purchase after no less than 10 follow up emails from them.

As soon as we paid... everything went dead quiet

First we were told the items were made and would be shipped 'the following day'... this never happened.

A week later I was told... Sorry about the misinformation - we will keep you posted. I still don't even know if this is a legitimate company as it cannot have taken 2 months to just process 20 gowns.

I will be leaving reviews on all sites now as I do not recommend G&M at this stage.

Beautiful but OVERDUE/DELAY NOT WORTH IT

"The quality and customization of the order was beautiful, but the delivery time frame and service is unacceptable -- especially in today's digital age. It took almost 3 months to receive our order. We WILL NOT do business with G&M again because of the delay in shipment, the defective product received (after waiting 3 months), and the lack of priority on their part to correct and ship the orders back. Overall it took almost 3 months and is unacceptable. This order was placed 2019 BLACK FRIDAY. The deal was not significant, we chose to do business become of their sales rep were professional and persistent. Shipping was quoted 4-7 weeks for the holidays. We paid in full and accepted the time frame. In January, we followed up and was informed it was 8-10 but it was 12+ weeks from the original order date. When we finally received the order the robes were beautiful but much thinner than described. No biggie, its customized, paid for, not much we can do. The aprons on the other hand were unfinished. It took multiple calls, emails and text to get a rep. The rep told me they'll fix the aprons and ship it back within 48 hrs of them receiving. It took them 48 hrs to email the RMA label. Again it took multiple text, emails and calls just to get an RMA label to get a fully paid product we ordered corrected. When G&M did receive the aprons to correct they did not commit to the 48 hrs turn around time. It showed they received it 2/17. I called and emailed 2/24 it was not even shipped out until I called and emailed. We received it Fed Ex today 2/28. We have not even picked up the order to see if it was properly repaired or even if we received the correct total numbet of orders sent back. We no longer want to deal with G&M. We will be placing more orders but definitely with another custom business. The experience with G&M has been disappointing and absolutely not worth the wait. For the price paid, we recommend working with a faster company true to their commitments. The 2 stars is because the product was beautiful and there was at least someone at the end of the line to help make an effort to get things right, it's just as a consumer you're not priority even if it's on G&M.

not sure what the heck is wrong with them this time around...

"I ordered June 30th, they promptly charged my card and sent me an email confirmation that the order was processed. I ordered 3 aprons, 6 spa wraps and some turban wraps for facials. It is now July 25th and I realized we have been waiting, waiting...waiting! Checked the email, found the confirmation and credit card charge and emailed 3 weeks ago, nothing...sent email again...nothing...today I sent several messages warning them I would cancel the charge and warn everybody..I stated that I sent so many messages so that I would not have to do that, I just wanted an answer...
Finally messaged me back with a "sorry will refund, out of stock"
SO unprofessional and I actually don't believe them. I've been duped I think, oh and when you TRY to call, you are met with "Hi it's jenny, leave a message"!
I hate writing bad reviews, and it's a shame, I've ordered from them before and went without a hitch..not sure if they sold the company and now it's being run by imbeciles or what!?

Excellent quality and perfect finishing at Salonwear

"A week ago I ordered 12 Combination Cape With Waterproof Polyurethane Top And Silkara Iridescent Fabric Bottom and 12 designer gown for my salon in Saint Paul. I am highly satisfied with the quality and finishing of the products. It was the best user experience for me to shop at Salonwear. Prices are also pocket-friendly and wide range of variety is available."

Excellent customer service and great product!

"Salon cape are great buy at salonwear.com and reasonably priced compared to salon supply stores. I won't buy my future capes from anywhere else again! I love the capes for 3 main reasons compared to others:

1. Its perfect for Taller clients. It has better coverage over their clothes and shoes.

2. The button snaps are way better than velcro because it doesn't catch on hair. (There are multiple snaps for different sized necks)

3. Its slick material makes dusting hair off a very easy task.
I recommend this product 100%!

Salon Wear is perfect for Salon Apparel and Salon Cape

"Recently my one of the friend bought salon apparel and salon capes at salon wear. All the products are very good and very comfortable. Thank you for attracting clients to my friends salon. Salon wear provided him custom salon cape with logo, which is very good for any salon to attract more spa and salon customer. Thank you Salon Wear."

"I ordered on Feb. 11, 2007, and waited forever with no response from the Salonwear even though I sent an email questioning about my order. I finally decided to do a Paypal dispute on March 1, 2007, and I still did not get a response from the seller. I escalated the case and finally recieved my order on March 13, 2007, and still did no recieve any email or sorry from the seller. Bad business process. Stay away from these guys. Seems like they won't send out order and try to keep money unless you pressure them. I cancelled dispute after they put up tracking information on Paypal on March 15, 2007."
