"Easy to order, excellent coms and delivered on chosen time scale once my order was despatched into the Royal Mail in my case 24 hour option. Fitting video on website was also very helpful to watch in replacing my Dell laptop cracked LCD screen.
A tiny issue being older and having glasses was the 30 pin connector came apart easy like on the video and the screen replacement went without a problem as well. However refitting this miniature connector just would not reconnect for me again? So I had to find and use a magnifying glass to see how it went back together as I didn't want to push it together too forcefully as if it was damaged that means the new screen is worthless and would have to be purchased again so be careful as I found it to be very fiddley and I am a retired electrically skilled tradesman. Maybe an enclosed exploded connector view would be useful for older customers or a magnified video view of the connector showing how it comes apart and goes together? As once I saw its design clearly for me it became clear how to reassemble it again.
Overall I have to say as they claim the LCD screen received was a perfect fit, cheaper than the manufactures quote and is working perfectly again but to soon to say how that will be for at present? With a lifetime warranty as long as it is a screen fault and not yours I am more than happy with my purchase, and now treat my LCD screens of all devices having one with more care and respect. "

"My order was cancelled and a refund issued, even though they could have sent me the screen I ordered.
An email said that the cancellation was because "product did not pass prepackaging quality control and not available any more", although it was clear that the same screen was available in the company's other warehouses. I had to go through exactly the same order process again to obtain one of those screens.
So why didn't they just send me one of those in the first place? They really should be asking themselves that question.

On rare occasions, when inventory is running low, items are written off if they aren't perfect during preparation for shipment. By default the order would be rerouted to a different location, unfortunately in this case no inventory was immediately available. "I bought a part and paid for next day delivery, but screens.uk did not even bother dispatching it until 2 days later, keeping my customer waiting and making my life harder.
I'm switching suppliers...

I would also like to point out that the company's reply is untrue.
The order was placed on 04/12/2020 at 12:38 (afternoon) way before the cut off I was only sent the shipping notification on 07/12/2020 at 21:00, keeping my customer waiting longer than necessary.
When the part arrived, it was completely wrong and did not match the device that it clearly said it was for, which meant I had to send the customer away and lose my sale because they were on a time limit before they went home for Christmas.
And after all of this, the company have the plums to lie in their reply to my review, rather than apologise and try to make up for the trouble they have caused me. "
