"Updated review: This company needs to improve its claims process. When we signed up for the insurance for our IPhone 5S, we were promised a repaired phone within 5 business days or we would receive the full retail. We filed our claim over a month ago on November 29, and today--December 31--we still don’t have the phone back or even a resolution to the claim. I have left many voice messages that they say will be returned within an hour. So far no call back. I left a question within the claims system on December 18, no answer to that. I left a message with a supervisor, no phone call back, and finally I filed a support ticket and sent an email and still no response. Somehow I was able to reach a person in the claims department twice. The first person actually called me back claiming that the phone was now in the repair process and that it would be sent out to us. After we still didn’t receive the phone for more than a week after that and the claim on the website still stated “unresolved,” I was able to talk to someone again who now claimed that the phone could not be repaired, but that they would send out a replacement phone right away. We haven’t received the phone or a tracking number and the claim on the website still shows “unresolved.” No phone in sight.
Update 01/05/2015: Today, I received a phone call from what I believe to be the company owner or president. The good news is, that he didn't make any excuses and he did speak to the right people to get the issue resolved. I am supposed to receive a check (for the cost of a refurbished phone) next week. If I receive the check as promised, I will increase my rating from 2 to 3 stars."
"Securranty, LLC is very easy to use. We registered his ipad a few months ago. Then he had cracked his ipad screen. We entered the claim, paid the deductible, and they sent a postage paid label. We sent the product off and they called 2 days later and then 2 days later the ipad came back fixed. This was all during Christmas week. "
