"UPDATE 5/28/15: Do not buy their warranty. Securranty and their subcontractor New Leaf were horrible & did not live up to the advertisements & the policy. My phone had electrical problems with the mainboard. Sony denied the claim so I should be still covered right? No, New Leaf did not care & maintained that it was a manufacturer's defect within the 1st year & therefore, I am not covered. To help, the New Leaf rep asked me to remember a date I dropped the phone & maybe problems happened later. That way it would be covered under the ADH (accidental damage from handling). So I played & picked a date 1 week before the phone stopped working. He called 15 minutes later & told me his boss said to deny the claim. Crazy. I have requested them to cancel my policy & refund me the full amount. I still have not received a reply for cancellation. I plan to file a claim with the BBB if they do not refund me the full amount."

They seem very security conscious as well, which I like. However, this is essentially an insurance policy, so the proof of the pudding will be how effectively they handle a claim. Only then will I be able to evaluate the company fully. Time will tell."
