"Ordered a machine this week, an older model but listed as in stock so I went for it. First day, no shipping notification which was fine. I log in a see some of the free bonus items were back ordered. Part way through day 2 still no communication so I send an email because they say orders ship within 1-2 business days and usually same day if ordered early in the day. 8 hours elapse, no response, and the website has been updated to show the machine is not in stock any longer and discontinued. So I assume I got the last one? Hah. So I call before they are closing to check. Within 15 seconds the customer service rep notices that they do not in fact have that machine. Fantastic disappointment. A simple email or call to me would have resolved the situation and I likely would have chosen another machine with their help, but now I'm just waiting for the $450 hold on my card to go away so I can buy one elsewhere. If you want to buy something from them, first I recommend you don't, but if you're going to call and place the order? I guess that's probably more safe? Good luck, I say avoid."
"I ordered my long arm sewing machine and it was shipped the same day. It arrived less than a week later, was packaged very well and the machine works so great! Very reasonable prices and finding the machine with the features you want is so easy. I will definitely go to them again if I ever need another machine! Excellent! "

On May 5th I purchased the Juki Long Arm sewing & quilting Machine.
Only after the completed the purchase Jennifer/Sales Rep. advised me that the machines were on back order and would be shipped within 3 to 4 weeks.
On June 15th I reached out to Jennifer/Sales Rep. regarding the status of my order.
According to Jennifer, she recently received an email from the manufacturer that all machines would be delayed for an additional 6 weeks.
Thus, my machine would not be shipped until August.
Extremely disappointed by this information, considering that I had to reach out to be advised of this news, I asked if they were willing to provide an equivalent machine instead. I was then provided with 3 options of machines that they had in-stock; however, all machines were over were out of my price range. I was transferred to Nicolas/Sales Manager and requested to be compensated because of the delay he denied my request. Then I asked for a trade off because the machines in stock were out of my price range, and I was also denied that.
They lied on their website when they say:
“We are ONLY experiencing 5 to 7 day delays in shipping”
“We have a very good supply of inventory on hand an are shipping 100’s of orders out daily”.
The fact of the matter is this is all a game to Sewing Machines Plus they:
Get the customer to make a purchase
Advise them of a delay in shipment
Offer in-stock items above purchase price
It’s all a huge scam to get you hooked in and ultimately purchase a higher price machine.
During this difficult time in our country, it’s a shame that companies continue to prey on customers.
Don’t purchase from Sewing Machines Plus it’s not worth your time, money or peace of mind.
I have another 2 months (give or take) before I might get my machine.

"First off I understand that COVID-19 has made life different for the country but that does not mean customer service can go down the drain. My husband and I ordered a Brother Refurbished XR9550PRW sewing machine from them in late April. We thought everything was going good until about a week and a half later we got an email telling us that our order was now in back stock. So my husband emailed a reply to them about our options and they gave us three comparable sewing machines to choose from (they said they were in the warehouse). After looking at the machines with reviews I chose the Brother Refurbished CS7205 and we replied to the email with that answer. Last week we checked on the order status and it showed the new sewing machine but no shipping information. My husband emailed at that time but did not get a response until May 20th. Now they are saying that they do not have the other machine either but wait this gets better. They again give us a couple of different machines to choose from without any extra charges. But this time, the machines they tell us they have in stock( I really doubt it) are lower models and are not even computerized like the first or the second one I wanted. These machines are basic sewing machines with less than 30 stitch functions. Plus were they even going to give back the difference to us if we did decide to go with any of these other models. The sewing machine I have now has more stitch functions than the choices they gave us this time.
How is a company that has been in business for over 50 years this bad? Their customer service is slow and lacking. They have no idea what products they do or do not have in their warehouse. They just want to take your money for products and hope if they do not give you any updates you will not call them out. Sewing Machines are not cheap by any means and customers do not order them without some serious consideration. I can not in any situation recommend this company to anybody."

"I was charged for a machine that was never shipped, and trying to get that resolved I cannot get anyone to answer E-mail, the phone or even Jean on her extension. She says she will return the call as soon as possible, but 2 and a half weeks? It's not her 700.- bucks. God help me if I need warrantie. "
"This seller takes orders but can not necessarily fulfill them. I do realize that this is a busy time, but I can verify that this seller does not have an accurate inventory control system. This means that you could place an order, see the charge on your credit card and then they will simply not ship. No notification, which is also a problem. We called to check on the order a week afterward (when it was scheduled to arrive) and were told it had sold out.
So - difficult time in America. People want sewing machines and related parts. And his company may or may not have the stock they claim. Maybe not a scam, but the same result. We ordered online elsewhere and cancelled through Sewing Machines Plus. Nor credit card refund yet, lol. Maybe it is a scam :)"
"I am disappointed. I got a Juki the machine is ok, I'm not surprised because it is a Juki. However, this is not the kind of machine I need. When, I got the machine I told the guy what it was for, the guy told me it was right machine for the kind of fabric I worked with. If I didn't like me, I had 90 days to return it, and then, when I called them back a lady told me, that is not true, so now, I have a machine I don't need and I need to get the right one. "

"Fed Ex did not deliver when it was suppose to be. When I called them, I was told it would be the next week. I was going to be out of town so we agreed it would be delivered to one of their delivering agents where I live. When I went to get it, it was not there. (It was suppose to be there two days prior to me picking it up.) The delivering agent looked it up and said it was delivered to a different town. It took 2 days to figure where it was.
I am happy with my bags, but I very disappointed with the shipping process and delays."
