In pursuing my payment options, I completed the financing form on the sewingmachinesplus.com website. The financing form does not contain an agreement to purchase anything. Four days later, I received a credit card from GE Money Bank, which was preprinted for SewingMachines Plus. Within a day, I began to get calls from a sales associate. Then about a week later, I got an INVOICE from GEMoney bank showing an account had been opened, and CHARGED with $970.00!!! I had never even SPOKEN with the sales representative. I immediately wrote a letter, sent certified mail, to GE Money Bank, and Sewing Machines Plus and demanded the credit this unauthorized charge. I received a notice from GE Money Bank that the account had been credited and closed, but I got no response from Sewing Machines Plus. How DARE they charge me for something I had not ordered, on a credit account I had not opened!"
