"Sewing Machines Plus is an amazing store. They carry several brands, not just 2 or 3 like most sewing machine stores. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and they let the machines sell themselves. They listen to what you are looking for, and then are willing to spend lots of time showing you the machine, answering your questions and even giving you time to just plain think about it. I bought a serger there, and wanted a basic one -- the lady did NOT try to "upsell" me to a more expensive model. A couple of months later I looked at a sewing machine but walked out without buying it -- the lady was very sweet about it, no pressure! But a few weeks later I DID buy the machine from the same lady, because they had a financing special going on, and their price was better than the store near me. I would highly recommend this store -- you can compare several brands and models of machine, and the staff will help you do that!
