"I reserved a bus for 36 people for a corporate event. The reservation process was simple and straightforward. A week before the event, I realized that we were going to need a bus that could accommodate 40 people. I called Shofur and spoke to our dedicated account representative and ask what I could do to make sure I had a bus that was big enough. I was prepared to pay extra, change the reservations, or whatever needed to be done. I was told by Shofur that fortunately, we were already assigned a 40 passenger bus so nothing needed to be done. It was only on the night of the event when I tried to fit my employees on the bus that we realized that the bus that arrived would only hold 36 people. The bus driver was very apologetic and said that the 40 person bus that was scheduled to come had engine problems and at the last minute was switched to a 36 seat bus. I scrambled to find transportation for several people, which defeated the whole purpose of our team building event.
Shofur has been absolutely unhelpful and unapologetic after I brought this to their attention. Their canned response is “well you agreed to the terms and agreement”. They do not care that it was their representative that told me I didn’t need to do anything. I had done my part to make the change to the reservation but Shofur will not honor it. I received several promises that a manager would contact me back but as of yet, I still have nothing other than it is my fault and I should have gotten something in writing. It is disappointing to say the least.

The staff were amazing and very responsive to communication, and our shuttles were perfectly on time, despite road closures because of a parade.
