"I just came from a local store that is closing and put merchandise on sale up to 30% off. The prices were outrageous. I bought boots at a another Shopko for $19.99. The same boots were $39.99. Everything I looked at was way over priced. I feel sorry for anyone that falls for their scam. "
"We are multi racial couple who stopped by Shopko to pick up a few household items during the after Christmas sale. We were monitored and followed around the store, and made to feel unwelcomed in Shopko. When we stopped in a certain dept. an announcement would come over the store intercom that assistance was needed in that dept. At first, we thought it was a coincidence. Until the 3rd and 4th dept. the same request for assistance was announced again and again as we were the only customers in that dept. and did not request assistance.
We also could not find the exact items we were looking for. While we were trying to find an item close to what we wanted, a store announcement would come across the intercom "If you can't find what you are looking for try shopping at Shopko.com." On our way to checkout, we remembered one more item we wanted. We went to that dept. and a muscular built man, who look like security, rolled an empty cart into the same dept. We looked at him, he pretended to not see us and we kept shopping
In our city the mall across the street from Shopko is barely staying open because of micro racism tactics used to harass latinos and blacks. Looks like Shopko and their employees will soon be closed. Shopko employees have to stop harassing customers that look different from them."
"So I wanted to purchase Dutch Oven dish online at Shopko.com
On the way to the cart I saw a Oreo Candy Canes, so I added 1 bag just over $2, why not. The Shipping cost was $8.95, understandable since this dish is heavy.
Then I recieved 2 email, the first one was shipping confirmation, I didn't even bother to read the details. It's shipped, right? Then I get a second email telling me that my dish item got canceled!
So, my $2 bag of candy canes just got shipped for $8.95!!! Wow!
When I called , Customer service guy took the info with promise of a supervisor callback. And he did call, left a message that they reduced the shipping cost by 50%. That's still $4.50 per $2 worth of candy canes.
Offered me a free shipping for the next purchase, what do you think, will I ever shop there again? I DONT THINK SO!!!
BTW, after I hanged up, I went on the web site and my dish, even in the same color was still available for purchase with a note: "Hurry, only few left..."
Edit: I do understand that sometimes items do get canceled for whatever reason, but why no one contacted me asking if I really want to ship those candy canes??? But reading the reviews here it doesn't surprise me at all. Be aware, shop somewhere else where they want the customer to come back."
"I saw a cordless vac on sale for $49. I went ahead and began to process the purchase but my 'Apt #' kept coming up wrong in the checkout step?? So, I couldn't complete the purchase. I went back and tried to edit the apt. # ten times. Eventually cleared my browser out still continued to happen. So, I then wen to my smartphone to see if that would make a difference and it did.
But, on the phone when I processed the order it showed the price $49 and some change.. and I pressed the "complete order" button and received an immediate confirmation that the order was complete.
So, I went into 'order history' to make sure the apt. # was right.. and look what I saw after thinking I just paid $49

"Ordered a Black Friday item on Wednesday. The following Tuesday received an email saying my order was canceled as it was no longer in stock when they went to fulfill my order. As I received the email, the stock was refilled, and I could order again online-at full price. Called customer service and was told that I would have to reorder AND PAY FULL PRICE! "I wish I could give half star. I placed my order on thanksgiving and they delayed my order. And now everyday i receive email saying 1 plate/bowl from my order has been canceled.
They didn't bother to call me and confirm about it.
Customer service is really horrible. They don't care about customer. They denied to cancel my order. When i asked about my order status she wasn't sure about it... OMG that is too much. No clear answer, not ready to cancel it. They just want your money.
Please don't waste your money here as they are not allowing to cancel it and hold your money for a long time.

"Was sent the wrong items due to an error at Shopko - I ordered 10 Lego sets from their web site and they sent me a completely different Lego set - entire order was wrong. Had to call 6 separate times to get the issue resolved. Never received call backs as indicated, was a huge hassle to get a prepaid return label to return the items, was asked numerous times to resend photos in which I had already sent. WIll never purchase from again. "
"My husband ordered a piece of luggage for my birthday that I saw in the store. He did the online purchase- pickup in store option. He kept waiting for the email to say it was ready, and instead received an email saying his order had been canceled, with no explanation as to why. He ended up driving to the store, and picking it up off the shelf himself to make the purchase. They had 3 on the shelf so it doesn't make any sense why they canceled the order for pickup. I have also ordered items online that
have shown up broken, and the don't return or exchange items in store if you ordered from the website. Definitely not convenient! "

"Ordered dinnerware online because of the reasonably low price. Received a broken bowl. After emailing customer service pictures to provide proof - I did not receive the 24-48 hour email or call with a resolution as told by the representative when I originally called. I waited another 24 hours to be told by another rep that no one from management or leadership was available and I would receive a call within 24 hours. Five days later and still no return call or email. I called and was again told the same exact information from Sandra...... where are the managers? hhhmm... sounds like this is a very unorganized, unethical organization being ran. The clock is ticking, i hope to receive a call within the next 23 hours but I am very doubtful. The nearest Shopko is 8 hours away otherwise I would get in my vehicle and return the entire order. All I want is a replacement bowl or a refund. "
"I got the Labor Day HOT BUY Event add in the mail. And thought I would go get some things that were in there. I t had Pepsi brand 4 for $11.00. I wanted two 8 pack Diet Pepsis and two Diet Mountain Dew. There was not any Diet Mountain Dew on the shelf. So I asked at the cashier and thy said that they were out.
